Calling all WORK wheel owners
yeah I just looked at the website I'll call em early next week got my last final tomorrow and than got my 20+ hour drive back to south florida, thanks again for the advice I guess the best bet is to do a lot of shopping around I was hoping to pick up a wheel and tire combo for around 2000-2200 I'll prolly end up paying a bit more I think..
yeah they are great guys over there.
I've been in their warehouse and offices and they are more then willing to go the extra mile for their customers

LOL. Rotor Pros with my own personal touches included
really they are that heavy? because the 18x8.5's are around 20.7 lbs damn that totally throws a wrench in what I want lol
don't really mind that there are no centercaps
don't really mind that there are no centercaps
I was looking to not spend more than 2200 for the whole wheel and tire setup but obviously the lower I can go the better I really love the split 5 spoke look with the deep concave face/ I'm kinda in love with these wheels lol
Edit: Just got off the phone with Work and they told me that the 18x9.5 format ways roughly 23.8 pounds which is slightly heavier than stock which is around 22 pounds if I'm not mistaken but I can probably live with that...

Renesis brake system!?
Are you competitively racing for the world championship?
You'll be fine with an extra lb or two
So many other factors come into play; seat time, compound of tires, tire width, tire psi, suspension components, etc that a couple lb sacrifice for an additional inch and a half really won't hurt anything.
Just a tip though - look into used wheels and/or tire setups. You'll be able to get something much higher tier for $2200 and potentially lose nothing if you ever need to sell. This would be a great place to start - http://forums.evolutionm.net/sale-wheels-tires-132/ Its really hit or miss though, you've got to keep an eye on it to catch the deals. I once sold some 100% MINT ce28n w/ 45% Toyo R1r on there for $2200 (though I got considerably higher offers via PM
)
