Yep. I think he has the 18x8.5 +38 in the front, but you can fit the 18x9.5 +38 all around.

Hey guys I have just got my coilovers and I was wondering whats a good amount to lower my 8 by without it coming to close to the rubber.

Rim size 18x9.5 +38 255/40/18 I also havent rolled my arches and im trying to avoid this.

^1.5 inches in the front and 1 inch in the back should be good for you.

^ you should be alright
for future reference - your next set of tires try going with a 265/35/18 - there's no need for a stretch with a +38ET

255 isn't a stretch 265 will make more wheel gap

No its not a stretch per say, but 255 is not necessary with a modest drop running a 35mm sidewall that's all. Just trying to help the guy with his next set on rubber

BTW I've been inspired..

Here they are my new WORK 11r's in Glim Silver 18-9.5 +38ET All corners

It was hard choosing between these and the CR kia's - at the end of the day the decision was based on weight. 11r's are about 3lbs lighter. They both are great looking wheels

Putting them away until spring which will be tough-- dying to see what they look like on the car

Pico that is a really nice rim you got. Perfect size too.

For the guy who wants to know how to tell a genuine. It has the cursive W and work on the rim. Look at Pico's photo you will see it. How to tell from a distance? You just have to know your rims I suppose.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. Now i just need to decide on tires which is proving to be a pain in the butt---waiting for tirerack promotions.

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
Kumho Ecsta MX
Hankook Ventus R-S3

These would be my tires of choice. if the get drop to around 200 each I'll be all over any 1 of the 3.

I wish I could right now but that would be crazy. Spring is coming fast. I've been running S-techs for about a year now so that piece of the puzzle is solved

Thanks i love em. The color will match up well.

If there's anyone looking to buy WORKS do it before the end of Fed. because you'll get free Work lugs/locks and valve stems.
