I have a ginourmous breaker bar if i need it, however as i mentioned before its the fact that the motor/trans keeps spinning when you really give it some force. I dunno if its the clutch slippin since its a new clutch or if my 145lb *** is so strong and burly that i can just overpower my car haha. I may try the starter trick tonight when i get off of work. If that dont work, i will drop the starter out and see if i cant grap a spot on the flywheel with a screwdriver. Just hope i dont break any teeth off of the fly.
Oh, and the oil pan removal, took maybe five minutes

Got the main e shaft bolt out and the front cover loose. My next issue is takeing the front plate off there are three studs that the water pump bolt to. Two come out with the front plate and the third stays in the "block". Is the third stud removeable? Can it be screwed out of hte block? I am having the issue of bringing the front plate straight forward. It will come forward but the bottom of the plate hits the loweer crossbar in the engine bay causign it to bind and not come car enough forward to get off the stud. If i could remove the stud it would be way easier to remove the plate. My other option is to un bolt the AC compresser and rotate the front plate up to clear the cross bar then sliding it forward. That AC compresser bolts are jsust a bitch to get to and to remove. Any suggestions on the next move fellas?

Rubber seal?
I'm assuming you mean the front main seal?
Your going to need to order a new one of those.
Wait until you get the stack off to see exactly what you need to order, I'm guessing so far you need both thrust bearings, thrust washer, and an end play spacer. I hope thats it...
Don't forget to order from Atkins they are much more reasonably priced than Mazdatrix, I save $70 by going through Atkins versus Mazdatrix for the identical order.
I'll b e install shocks for another forum member all day tomorrow and working on my car as well. Look forward to the updates, hopefully we can get your beast running.

i am 99 percent sure that it was not me, however anythign is possible. Before i removed it, i was thinkin to muself how i need to be carful and not tear it.
I mentioned the pully wobble before, but i also stated that i did not think it was enough to be causing any issues. So i am the only one to take blame for not spotting it sooner. But even that was after the data logging and all that stuff.
I got to th first bearing and saw it looking all perfect and shiny and was thinking i did alot of work for nothing. I was starting to not to be happy. Not that i was happy it was like his but just wanted all this work to be for soemthing.

Also, aftermarket oil temp gauge has been acting a little funny so i did nto think anything of it. But could this be the reason my oil temp gauge ran kinda hot the first time we started it and let it run for awhile. after the first time it read right where it should be. I mean it wasnt like over heating hot but i noticed it was a little warmer then normal.
