It should idle a bit leaner than that....if you add 1 degree of timing to the cells below where it idles it will help keep it going if the RPM's drop

You need a tune before something goes boom

i shoudl be good keeping under 4-5 k and out of boost. Need to get some miles on the motor and clutch before the tune also. If i make it to texas i can get a free tune from steve. However, thats quite the trip. dunno who local that can do it that i would trust. I guess chris with esmeril is in MN. Thats somewhat close.

An airline ticket from Texas and a couple of hours of dyno time are a lot cheaper than an engine

I know what you mean. still need to get a few miles on it though. But yeah, i agree with ya. Needs to be tuned
