Yep. You are done.
FWIW, you can fix that wobble without removing the motor, but if you ran it that way under load, you've probably tossed the front e-shaft bearing as well, which will manifest itself in a big boom at some point.

Yea I told him he could fix it. But since he paid to get it rebuilt his builder should be responsible for all damages.

My POV of course. Hopefully his builder agrees.

Yeah i am kinda seeing it the way shady is. I talked to steve, i am goin to send him a couple more pics and a vid. We did not really talk much about fixing the issue, but he did say he would tear it all apart and see if that was the issue. Problem is, Steve Kan - Texas and Me - Iowa. I will tlak to him later today about what options i see on gettin the problem fixed.

I can walk you through the removal and replacement if Steve wants to cut you a check for a portion of the rebuild.

That's is a builders fault, not shipping, not a bad install etc. pure and simple he messed up.

Sounds like hes working with you though which is awesome.

LOL. The DIY is in my head. Theres also info in the last few pages of my build thread on some pointers and tips from RR and Easy 1 form BHR.

For disassembly

The engine workshop manual $28.00 from Atkins? Or find a download version.

Tools you need:
Breaker bar
19mm socket
12mm socket
10mm socket
a scrapper I used a 1" hard Spackle knife
Softblow hammer, rubber mallet, ballpin hammer. (depending on how much of a bitch it is to get yrou oil pan off)
a cinder block and an object that will push and hold the clutch pedal down.

Drain the oil

Drain coolant

take off the oil pan (no joke this will be the hardest part and take you the longest)

While your working on that your friend can start removing all the components in front of your front cover, pulley's, belts, alternator, water pump, etc.

break the main pulley bolt loose (DO NOT PULL IT OUT YET)

Push clutch forward and hold it forward with object

start removing the front cover bolts they are all 12mm I forget how many there are. Maybe 8 or so.

After you get the cover off there are a few steps to do, before you can actually get to the front stack. I'll write those up later. and for assembly your going to need a few other things, obviously the parts but also some RTV and grease.

I'm really not good with words or writeup I'm a visual/hands on type guy. so if this is confusing for you I can write it out in a detailed manner with some pics.

Yup, but i am sure he will make things right.

I will prolly start removing some parts tonight and take some more pics before i tear the front cover off or anything. I want to be definately sure that this is the issue before i start breaking into the motor.

You wont need to break into the motor, just the front cover... Depending on the damage that is.

I cant imagine anything else that will make that front pulley wobble.

Last step you can try is take off the ac pulley belt and make sure the alt, water pump, and front pulley is on tight. Then try starting if it still wobbles its your front stack and its fubar.

^+1
When you drain the oil and pull the pan, check it carefully for bearing flakes, if you find that there's a lot in there, then you definitely want to pull the motor out and apart to change the front-gear e-shaft bearing.

BTW - the Mazda FSM test for the proper installation of the front assembly is very good and very easy.
Just test for the pulley boss depth - it has a very small correct depth. If it is even a mm off, you did it wrong.

Well good luck to ya! Its a PITA just requires a little patience and some know how. I think you got both by this point.

Ive been in your boat. I tried everything to get mine to start.

One day when cranking while looking at my spark I said to my friend "why is my front pulley looking like a a circus ride?"

If you need to call me for a walk through or if you get stuck let me know I'll PM you my number.
