man, that is all over the place.
Can you change your live data to log time, RPM, AFR, LTFT, STFT, Mass airflow G/S, and then log for a 30 second interval at cruise?

I didn't log STFT.....but here is a more consistent log at cruise...I am a data guy so I look at this kind of stuff everyday but if you scroll through and just watch the AFR you can use that as your mark.....if that makes any sense at all

I don't think you can. I wanna see STFT, load, and throttle %. get rid of speed.
You seem to be running pretty rich for a bit. Also, did you let off the throttle during that log?

is there any particular speed or rpm or anything like that that is beneficial?
my other logs were done with the intent of capturing the whole RPM range under both low and high loads..... guess i was wrong

the first one was that a full throttle run?
It is was--you have problems.
what kind of intake do you have?
Do you have screens in the intake?
. Maybe some turbulence in there?
Its all over the place, lean in some spots and the grams per sec of air flow is low.

AT tranny rebuild
Thanks, for the 2 1/8 measurement. duh... I bought a 750 lb engine stand from harbor feight for $45. Once the block is mounted the tourque issue should resolve itself and I can break it open. Ill update pics as I progress. Thanks for the 2 1/8 measurement refrence as all the other sizes have been in MM. Ill check sears tomorrow.
I am slso customizing my 3rd gen 4 runner while Im rebuilding the mazda I just ordered an in dash mountable CB and im working on mounting a coil over whip with possibly dual front/rear antenna. And illl be adding a state of the art 1 DIN reciever above it for a 2DIN stack with a stealth CB set up ranging over 20 miles... makes for a headache in keeping up with what the poopin crappin I am doing

UIM is coming off again and I think I am just going to use your vacuum tester on every freaking line
#1172
vacuum 15 at idle? Then that would explain the grams per sec being on the low side.
Do you think it may be time for a compression test?
You have the aem air filter and screens so there shouldnt be any turbulence in the intake system bad enough to mess with the maf.
The grams per sec should never waver like that--it should be a steady increase as the rpm builds ( during wot) at least that is how I understand it.
Vacuum leak? I guess that is possible but I dont think thats it? Dont know for sure, but I would be surprised.
Interesting and appreciate your sharing.

I wouldnt say improving...things are going south
I am going to do a compression test next week if this weekend doesnt reveal anything.
I did do 3 logs on the way to work and the 5k log had the AFR's drop to 12.0 and then up to 15.2......that was at steady throttle. Is that a sign that there is not enough air?

Wonky AFR's are not normal if you were on reasonably flat ground. A vacuum of 15 is not good if you are sure you don't have a significant vacuum leak, that is about where my last engine was when I was having trouble. I think a compression test is on order just so you can see what is really up.
I would contact Jose and see if he can do it personally to make sure it's done right.
