thx for the input, ended up ordering the Defi CR 52mm black face oil temp and fuel pressure.

Just getting sick of how loud the prosports are, the price was not too bad, 140 for the oil temp, 200 for the oil pressure, and 140 for the control unit.

Will be taking out the sandwich plate on the oil filter, it is making it extremely hard to change the filter with a fuel pressure gauge there, supercharger, and the S2 oil filter.

Will be relocating the sensor to the oil cooler with the corksport banjo belt.

Yeah I am ready to get rid of my Propsport after seeing the Defi gauges on Sifu's car. I plan on replacing them with Stack brand gauges or Defi CR's.

Brett,

We should ask the guy who hooked his oil lines up backwards (I don't know how that is even possible with stock coolers and lines). I know he killed his engine in like 5 minutes.

if you are going to get CR, better get on them quick, they are stopping production soon.

Best prices i have seen are from nengun at the moment.

Defi - Link Meter - ADVANCE CR - 52mm - Nengun Performance

The black face ones, match our car, Black face with white LED during day and Black face with Red LED during night.

It is however all in celcius/kpa

those gauges look awesome! simple, gives the real old school JDM feel.

The other gauges i looked at were the AEM 52mm Digital Gauges

I have found ever since going to digital PLX gauges for Wideband and Boost i've never looked back.

Originally got the prosport wide band, pretty much tossed that out straight away, how can you even bloody read those gauges at speed is beyond me.

Found digital displays to be awesome for quick glances, too bad these ones are only imperial, and no warn feature

I like simple gauges. My PLX DM-6 with AFR and boost sucks. The daisy chain setup they have is finicky and it often freaks out. I went back and forth with them, they even sent me a new one and the same **** happens. It works fine with one module but when you daisy chain them the problem pop up. It will work fine for weeks and then just freak out randomly.

They just get stuck and neither works, or one works and the other doesn't. But then it will work fine for a month or two and not act up. Aside from that the design of the modules and the way they daisy chain is just stupid. as of today only AFR was working and I had to power cycle the boost module to get it working. I even have a separate power supply and fuse/distribution block for PLX stuff and EBC. I did that thinking the PLX stuff needed a better source and the issues still persisted. I spent a while on the phone with PLX to verify everything was installed right and it was so they sent me a new Boost module and nothing changed. Hoss-05 has a bunch of PLX stuff and has nothing but issues with it as well.

hmm, been working very well for me, have yet to encounter a problem. guess it really just comes down to luck.

I just have them daisy chains, no seperate power supply/fuse either.

waiting for radiator to be recored, and bonnet to be repaired. There was abit of shipping damage on the bonnet, so trying to get that sorted first, then dropping car to get W/M installed with radiator and new fans

Took the time to set this up, for the upcoming GT6 on playstation.

G27 Steering Wheel

Buttkicker simulation kit: basically a soundless subwoofer, generally only detects low frequency sounds and sends a vibration through entire chassis of the setup. Really can feel the engine, the road and the crash

Used to use those Mac valves in automation projects 20 years ago .

I don't think you need one though - I was just going to use the Vfad valve - it does exactly the same thing .

so yea, finally after 4 japanese companies, 6 US ones and 3 Australian companies, i finally found a distributor that still had stock of the 52mm Fuel Pressure CR gauges (black), a huge distributor in HK called SuperGT.

If anyone still wants advance cr gauges, 52mm black (which has black face, white lighting, red on illumination) in the 52mm size, better get them quick, they have gone out of production and very hard to source.

The BF range only comes in 60mm size

the new C range looks like it came outta the movie TRON.

These are the 52mm CR range, the ones i got

New bonnet fitted, to hopefully help with heat soak especially stuck in traffic.

Genuine RE-A Fiberglass bonnet.

In terms of weight, it is only marginally heavier then factory.

Sure makes the car look alot more aggressive though

Everything installed.

FAL Fans, bloody good upgrade, appreciate the advise 9krpm, a tad loud, but definitely working well.
The BHR Radiator combined with the Fans is definitely keeping the temperature down even with AC on, in garage. I would originally struggle with heat even with the car moving with A/C on.

Defi gauges are a god send, its very fast and very accurate. No musical/Christmas jingle every time you turn the car on.

W/M system is installed combined with the AEM failsafe device, The system is going very well, good pressure, whilst the nozzle is rated to be 260ish cc, the AEM gauge is showing around 400cc of flow instead. Going to fine tune the hobb switch and maybe nozzle sizes before i actually connect the failsafe side.

IAT is looking good as well, whilst originally i would almost see around a 20degree celcius difference from starting IAT until redline IAT with slow recovery time, now with the injection pre compressor i am seeing around 10-12 degree difference, with nearly a instant 6 degree drop as soon as i let go of throttle.

Playing with the V-Mount setup, i installed a small 550 cfm push fan at the bottom, and cut out a small square on the undertray feeding the fan, before my W2A radiator will be heating up at idle now the IAT are continuously dropping. Going to see radiator temps better on some mountain spirited drives to judge whether the hole in undertray is very detrimental to radiator airflow or not.

I also have a rx8performance aluminium undertray, once everything is in place, will be modifying this undertray, instead of a hole i am thinking about wielding these in

Since the fan sit slightly abit lower, i may need to shape it slightly on a angle to create a ram duct effect... or i need to find a thinner fan.

Anyways Merry Christmas all, will take some photos and put in additional results after i return from my holidays to Bali.

.
Don't you have to calibrate the flow for the failsafe ?
