[QUOTE=MazdaManiac;2855160]I'm running the even-more-powerful LS2 setup and it will still misfire with too much water.
Just gotta get that balance right.
With a decent intercooler and efficient turbo, you really don't need a TON of water.
good thing to know....i will really consider the balance....thank you jeff

both of them parts are standard in the pump on used with the kits. Yes you can run run straight m1. But we recommend no more than a 50/50 mix. We don't recomend any top end lubes in the pump. Meth is not going to hurt the pump if it has the right valves and seals. And you are not injecting enough to worry about cylinder wash so i would not use it. FWI there are other brands of Methanol out there that are cheaper.

exactly---i advise strongly agaisnt chasing power with a water meth system in this way. I advise only using it for damn good insurance for us boosted folks. If you want more power then suck it up and tune for it---dont start adding things to the fluid being injected---all kinds of reasons---remember also we have a 2 valve tuned intake(most of us have d/ced the vdi) and if you are injecting stuff above those ports---well --when those ports open there MAY have been some accumulation? That could =NOT GOOD if OTHER stuff is in the fluid.

I'm getting one of these kits.. I have a few question, where are people putting their nozzle? are people using multiple nozzles? what size nozzles are people using? 150cc?
anyone have a picture of one installed?
I was thinking of putting a nozzle in the UIM at the top in the plastic, at an angle since I have to take it off anyways to put on a greddy backing plate...
thanks a bunch.

I pulled off my UIM yesterday and after about 400 or so miles of water/meth spray the inside of my UIM is completely clean. And from what I can see the LIM is very clean inside as well- good news.
It was odd, tho, on the inside of my throttle body there was some sort of dry powder that had accumulated- had a very light green coloring to it. Not too much there, I whipped it away with a rag, but it was odd.

just get the BHR throttle body spacer and run the W/M into there.

A few days ago I "steam cleaned" the inside of my engine by sucking a gallon of water into the manifold through a vacuum line and holding the engine at 2K rpm! Does that count as aux injection? BTW the engine runs smoooooth now!
For those who haven't followed Brian's thread on the 7club forum, he broke the rear engine housing around the dowel pin.
