I am going to contact Prosport to find out if the older digital series boost gauge only reads PSI. I know that new gauges read vacuum in inHg and boost in PSI. Not sure if that applies to my gauge though.

lol I was so close as to not post (since I don't like to much anymore) but I felt necessary to throw that out before you started digging into compression test, pouring BG 44k in the tank, and spending more money.

ok, now install the turbo!

decided to give you all a little update:

Getting very close to my install date. I took a pic of everything in its "current" state ( already slightly different, Kyle and I heat wrapped the header over the weekend)

The refinished turbo hot side:

Im sorry if this is back in the thread somewhere, but i was just curious how many miles are on your car, what year it is, things like that. I might have a chance to pick up a turbo kit from a local here, and just trying to weigh my options

owned the car for over 5 years. It will no longer be a daily driver in the near future.

sweet! that will work. Scott, do you happen to know if this will retain the stock size filter? IIRC the greddy one does not retain the stock size filter could be wrong there though.

Seems like it would work well for the oil feed line and possible pressure readings

Yes it does, I will be running my feed line from it. I found out about it through an article I read on motoiq.com. I also have the prosport one I have been using forever without issue.

The rubber seal on my Prosport is looking pretty used and I figure it's time to retire it.
