Are you planing on using the swif springs for a different spring rate then the teins or whats your thoughts on this? Ive contemplated switching my springs on my Tein Super Drifts but Im still messing around with the setup still so no change yet.

not sure never really thought about it. the only reason im concidering the tein is for the edfc. i like my set up now but the d specs are low pressure and with 4 people in the car it ends up ridng too low and i have no adjustment. everyone seem very happy with their Pss9s. I got time to decide.

Yea thought you might have had a particular reason for your setup and was curious as to what it might be.

well i did some of the new exhaust welds will finish that once i get parts that are on back order and the 3 bolt header flange cut. I ended up doing some work for a fourm member and giving him my full exhaust (header back) and made him the aluminum charge pipe run to the front.

Also the rb racing oil pump came in today.

I also decided that i did not like the look of the plastic AEM water/meth so im having a aluminum one made. once the exhaust and aluminum tanks are done i plan on having all the intercooler(minus fins), visibal charge pipe, catch can, washer fluid, and sohn can powder coated mirror black with yellow caps. Then the exhaust ceramic coated if i dont decide to wrap so it will keep the temps up and get the best spool time

looks great man, you have serious skills.

I would really love a SOHN reservoir with -4AN fittings so I could add a -4AN fitting on the SOHN and not worry about leaks. For some reason every reservoir I have used leaks eventually no matter what hose clamps I use.

that would not be hard to do what kind of hose are you using. I would guess it has something to do with the oil eating away at it because there can't be much pressure maybe a half a pound of head pressure. im using the catch cans similar to mazsport. I believe a member said you can get them at murrays speed shop I paid 68 each. i used a fitting to get to 3/8" npt then a 90. after that you could use a 3/8" male to 4an fitting. then change the sohn out to a 4an fitting. has anyone else had this issue? if so i may change mine out now.

well i figure i have 6 years experience and have been doing it 2000+ hours a year for the past 3 years. also working around some of the best welders from across the country plays a role.

my water/meth tank was completed today. the guys at ab-speed out of north carolina are super fast. the cost is up there but the quality is spot on

the welds and the work in this build is beautiful. keep it up!

careful with that aluminum tank you are using for water/meth. Methanol is corrosive to aluminum.

wow,

getting caught up here..

great stuff. the only bother i see is intake filter. bad spot for crap and to get knocked off. could you route it up to a rear fender well? above the liner, and make a vent?

beers

the intake it t bolt clamped on I could run it to the fender but I would think you can get cooler air off the ground. im not sure how i could funnel the air in without tire interferance or crap getting picked up by the tire. also i do not drive the car in the rain or above a 30% chance. the filer is a lot higher than some stuff under the car. we will see how it goes I may change it later on once I finish some other stuff up.

as for the tank I would love to keep it silver but the rest of the car is black and yellow. I would look weird with that sticking out

I am thinking I should go to pipe fitting school. Sometimes I think college was a total waste of time.

lol, yeah some days i wish i would have went to college so i didnt have to do as much physical work. most of it is the way my mind works. if i can see it i can usually do it. the only thing i know i can not do is body work and painting because its too slow for me. ive been thinking about maybe making this if someone wants one. but that will depend on the finished product and how it performs

pull the plastic out of the inner fender on the side you have the air filter. you would be suprised how much room you have. and you could vent the plastic or the fender itself. but it is all vented to the trunk..

pm me if you need some insight!

btw, stunning work.

beers

I would go black to help keep it clean and sleek. If the black were to get messed up it would be barely noticable but yellow you would clearly tell.
