What yall cant see in that picture is that the runners now taper from bigger to smaller. There is also a LOT of casting roughness within the runners that needs cleaning.
How do yall think I have been able to get well over 300 rwhp on 7-8lbs of boost?

No pressure loss with this Moon--the sc has enough reserve to take care of it--no problem. Remember I am not ported.
I can 2nd this

dont tie up the ssv before you get it running the first time. After you get it running and are ready to do the fine tuning--then tie it open.
You should be able to run your pulleys --but i wouldnt.
You dont want to underdrive anything.

Damn so I need a stock pulley. I don't have mine fml.

And im so upset right now; the package Mazmart sent, was sent to the wrong address. They sent it to a old address they maybe had on file for me from past purchases, which is my girls house. Even though I gave them my current mailing address. Either way UPS says they delivered it to the rear door, and there is no rear door. Its an attached house in the middle of the block. I hope they can resolve this and im not out on parts or money =[

Those wingsuit- guys are not sane. Truth is I envy them badly for daring, it looks fantastic then they fly down slopes in between trees.

Thanks for heads up regarding kit. Any info?

just started a new job and now no time for ANYTHING.
started getting a minus 25 stft and a tad of lean up top--out of the blue --and after some logs and thinking--i think i have a leaky fuel injector.
I am trying in my spare 5 minutes per day to change out my reds just to see if that will make a difference. If it doesnt I am going to shoot it.
Damn car drives me crazy

Any trim greater than "15" is most likely a vacuum leak.

check vac hoses(again)

well swapped the injectors out-------- it did not show any difference in idle stfts of MINUS 25.
Reset computer etc no difference.
I am stumped.
would adding a header cause neg fuel trims? I dont think so?
maf is smooth and normal reading.
car during driving has good stft's-- ltft's are only minus 1.
Before something happened--my idle stft's ( after it warmed up) was minus 5 to 0.

High negative fuel trims at idle are indicative of a Vacuum leak.

Huge leak, my Hymee was running like that, MM was surprised it would even idle. Ended up being that the sealant blew between the compressor and mounting plate. Less than 1mm in any given spot but spread out along 2 feet of surface area added up.

Why would the computer pull gas if more air is getting to the engine than what the maf is measuring? I thought with a ---stft it was something else than a vacuum leak?

Dan I wondered about the o2 sensor,it's less than 2 years old and at soon as I get to 1.5 k rpms it's fine? Stranger things have happened to me.

I put a screen in the maf tube today, pre AND post maf---- guess what? Stft is now 0 to minus 5!
And now it is adding fuel at lower rpms than before, air fuel ratios are good. I haven't did any kind of closed looped running yet.
Damn mystery- but it will reveal itself and if it continues I will go to my buddy's shop and hook it up to the computer to see about all the sensors.

The screens cut my idle maf flow from 8 grams to 7 grams per sec. I idle at 1.2 k rpm.

I had an exhaust leak between the extractor and cat, this caused a few issues. Just got rectified by replacing the mounting brackets. I also got the cat (100 cell) replaced at the same time as there was signs of some breakdown.

Lol--i have been on that list a few times myself Wingle.

Yep skc- i understand that one.
Whats a mystery about this to me is that the intake that I put screens in yesterday is the same one that I have always been using--so it shouldnt be a turbulence issue--right?
Maybe the maf sensor is getting back--heck I dont know?

i got mine to behave better. my cold air intake was to good and the iat part of the tuning must not have been able to tolerate the much cooler temps ( 40F). When I took it off ( same maf pipe)
mine went back to close to normal.
ERRRR--plus my catch can needed emptying---go figure.

no--not at all.
my catch can is attached to suction from the lower intake manifold. you will always have oil vapors etc present. Plus it only holds about 100cc's before the tube is covered in liquid. This is the first time I have ever emplied it.

That is a relief to hear. I was getting a lot of blow by however, it has reduced a lot since I had an engine decarb done a year ago.

However, my car has been de tuned and running with less timing due to low compression. It still has a lot of punch if I floor it.

Now waiting to collect funds to get a fresh engine. I am exploring Mazmart who do a special build for FI applications and Pettit. Prices are similar and Mazmart may have more goodies.

I assume there should not be any issues with fitting a US engine into a Aussie car? I have to option of rebuilding locally however, parts are more expensive here and it will take more time. I simple swap will be a lot quicker and I will have a spare engine that I can work on in the future.

it should swap out with no problems. Speak with Pettit and Mazmart about how their builds are a little different. Both are excellent builders. Cant go wrong with either.

So, I installed the Coils, wires, and plugs. I gapped the plugs to .030 as recommended by Pettit. I know they recommend that gap for Forced inducted 8's. I figure I would get it out of the way. this way I could log the car with the EFIdude and send Pettit the files with the new ignition compontents.

My problem: the car when warm dies at red lights, is not holding idle. Theirs a bit of white smoke and its back fireing alot.

When I screwed the plugs in I did till they were snug and I heard the crush washer. Wires are all snug and tight to their connectors. Coils are nice and snug too. I marked all the plugs and wires t1, l1, t2, l2 when I did the install. I'm lost....
