Hey OD, would you be interested in porting your blower? I can throw up some pics of the updated intake for the rentec blowers which happen to have some added slots which wouldn't be all that hard to replicate with porting tools. I got lucky because the blower I have was from rentec, the intake slightly makes the package longer but only 1/4 inch or so. I wonder what kinda difference it would make, also better flow means less work to make the compression.

Hey all does the Pettite come with the Bosch bypass valve?
If so, is it 0280142102? i just purchased the petitt billet one to replace my plastic bosch bypass valve, it should work with any S/C really since softer spring right?

What would you think about using the aluminum tank like you suggested, but adding some heatsink fins along the tank in whatever location they would fit?
I think it would help to radiate heat similar to a cpu, gpu or pc memory heat sink. Maybe only a few degrees, but in that FL heat you could use every bit you can get.

Honestly it seems like you could just find a long radiator and have it shimmed up off the bumper support to allow convection to do its thing. Added capacity, added cooling, win win. Or even for the sake of experimentation weld some fittings on the end of an intercooler so you can run water through it.

what we have works well. We are just playing.
You will never get a a/w cooler that is 100% efficent.
Heat soak at parking is what we are mainly playing with?
Any performance driving then just switch on the w/m--problem solved.
Juan I ran also without a spring for a long time, but I found that with the right spring I have better idle recovery and sharper onset of boost. Course I am running the different BPV than yall.
By pass valves do need maintainence from time to time.
My pettit one will be here soon.
Moon---dont think I want to go there---yet. I am getting close to maxing out the maf and I dont want to get into scaling the thing.

I wouldn't think a traditional style radiator that size wouldn't really hold much water and it may impede flow. I'd rather go with the heatsink idea and mount a bunch of PC processor cooling fans to the top of the water pipes fins

I see, but does anyone remeber what bypass valve the pettite kit was originally released with? i just replaced mine with the 103 bosch unit for now, i still dont like plastic stuff 
. But going for the Turbosmart BOV plumbed back to the bosch 102 bosch unit my vaccum went from a irratic 15 that jumps to 3 during idle, to a steady 18, then replacement with the 103 bosch unit it is staying at around 21 during idle, when the pettite one arrives i'll have a look at that one. But i do like the bosch unit for it's factory look

the orginal bypass valve was the plastic oem bosch type. It had a flapper valve. It worked but it wasnt the best for excellant sealing/ performance. It was the "early"days of learning.
The updated one from Pettit retains that look, but it is all aluminum and has o ringed sealed piston.
My tuboxs piston type does ok but it does require more maintainence (cleaning) than Pettits.
I really would like to get the Greddy or the one made by synapse and adapt it to our system.
I like those valves sealing and reaction. Much better than a piston type imho.
Oh by the way I have a track w/e with the BMW CCA at Road Atlanta 9/11 and 12th. I hope I will have some good video for yall.
I broke down and went crazy and bought a NEW set of Hoosiers. They were out of the size I wanted so I had to settle for the 245/35/18 and will mount them on my 9.5" rpf-1's. These tires will be almost an 1/2 inch shorter than the ones I were running. It should get my gearing too exactly where I wanted it for the tracks I run.
This is getting expensive, glad my kids dont mind me spending their inheritence.

ok guys ill be tracking the car a few weekends and i know i need to do the cooling system and oil system, change the fuel pump but i got a questions whats the best tuning tool i can use i read everyone talking about the iter-x and i see some people using flashes and some using the cobb, the supercharger is going on to an auto so any suggestions?

also whats its like for auto people driving the car, iv read alot of people with 6speeds and they are like oh we can just punch it in 6th and go well for use auto we punch it and it down shifts so whats it like driving an auto that supercharged?
