Btw, are your Enkei RP-F1's 17" or 18"?
The RP-F1s are 18X9.5 wrapped in 265\35-18 BFG TA KDW2s.

The drag radials are Mickey Thompson 275\40 17 on some 17" Enkei (not sure which model). I borrowed them from a friend, but I will probably buy them off of him as he has no need for them. His car is making more power than these tires can handle (I think he's pushing 550hp and 600 ftlbs of torque on his Mercury Marauder).

The fitment is a bitch for those of us who work on our cars at home. In fact, it would be much nicer if Pettit made a smaller diameter blower pulley instead.
I mentioned it to Cam and he brought up the point of the 5" pully being 6 rib would make you have to grind down the rack. Its not that hard to swap that pully out, just mark the one you take off and match the marks to the new one that you put back on.

Let me tell you a story about those new pullys. There acualy old ones for the smaller blower, that tells you how close to production we were with them. I was hounding Cam to try them out with the kit but it took me until recently to do so as you see. They were produced way before the stage 2 pullys but we wanted to hold out on the release, maybe not even release them but it turned out for the better.

juan knows what to do if he wants to get his time down more--it could easily be a high 12 sec car. Just dropping to a 17 inch wheel and a short tire and skinny's up front would be good for 0.2-0.3 sec--hell he probably had his battery still up front and the back seats still in.
I bet that was a fun night.

Moon on the fuel insures--i have been going around and around, I have now a larger micron sock (ours doesnt suck!) will have at some point external aeromotive cannister filter(i have it all with the fittings --just havent had the time) and I am thinking real hard whether or not to put 14 volts to the pump on its high speed mode--leave the low alone.
thoughts?

Officially passed 17,000 miles on the blower today (several of those miles were on an autocross course, or a drag strip ) Life is good:

Coming soon to an engine bay near me:

Does the pulley in that pic have the same # of grooves as our stock pullies?? I guess the one I got was a tester, because it has one more groove than stock.

did you guys ever try launching in second gear? seems like with all that extra power you might as well give it a try....but only if you have a stronger clutch.....

I have a Racing Beat Aluminum Flywheel and Exedy Stage 1 clutch.

I'll give it a try next time.

BTW Trap rpm was 8,000 in 4th gear and 12.0 A/F ratio.

My take:
Originally the blower was going to have the extra rib for the belt, but there was not slippage.
Cam simply turns the extra rib off now.

use wheels and tires for gearing --easiest thing to do. 8k in 4th is almost there.
if you really want to drag her--then either get an 09 trans placed in your car or get a 2nd gen 5 speed. The 5 speed will alliviate 1 shift
