Yeah, it's not Rocket Science, but it would be fairly easy to get it wrong. Take your time and triple check before you fire it up. It's not that the directions are cryptic, it's just takes awhile to figure out the verbiage and how they relate to the pictures. Ya really should go slow and make sure you understand it, even if you have to stare at it for ten minutes on one or two of the steps. I would triple check with any wiring job............but especially when it involves the ignition.

Wouldn't hooking it up wrong lead to a CEL being on? Wouldnt the CEL on tell you that something somewhere isnt correct? Or can you have it hooked up wrong with no CEL? I find that hard to believe.

Figure I would post here to mention that I've noticed a lot easier starting and in situations where my car use to flood. Since installing mazsport coils I haven't flooded once.

Neither have I Cliff..on the flooding in about three years.......but now you have cursed yourself on the coils and wires. Seems to me from what I have read that around(notice I said around people) 45k or so is when people start seeing coils go. And............wires are cheap(for the most opart), so why not change those when coil time. I had cars where the wires did go bad, and I'm sure ours can too with all the heat involved in that bay.

true. I have thought about replacing them since they are relatively cheap. When I hit about 50k will do the whole tune up and all. I have changed the fluids religously, trans, brake, oil, antifreeze, rear diff. I try to keep it in good shape. Change all the fluids roughly every 25k miles to 30k except oil. I change it every 3 and change my plugs about every 10k or so. I keep it tip top.
