I'd personally use Injector Dynamics fuel injectors. The ones you are using are 25 year old technology and a solid generation behind the stock RX-8 injectors. ID's injectors are very different. They are a generation more advanced than the RX-8 injectors and are as modern as injectors get. They are very linear and fast. I'd check them out. Injector Dynamics is Paul Yaw's company.

I'm aware of the ID injectors. I think we may have found another set that works just as good if not better. We're testing them in our shop Evo for a company now. I'm using stock modified injectors now...

On another note.... Car left my shop to go to another shop for fabrication today. Took pics, but forgot my camera cord at work.

Also ordered intercooler piping/couplers/tbolt clamps

Can anyone give me insite on the Cobb Torque limiter tables. I've noticed they only go up to 2.0. Does the car run in limp mode if they are zero'ed out?

No. I'll take more when it's done. It's a 3-1 manifold. There is another short runner under those other two in the picture. They all merge together in one spot approx. where the shortest pipe ends.

on the manifold design check your engine mount bracket
my mistake doing the header outside of the car and only to find it was 100% contact on my shared pipe.
looks sexy though
i wish i did mine out of stainless
i only had access to steel -shrug- im sure ill pull it out and either ceramic or redo the design anyways since i fudge the o2 bung and my devider

Great to see you're not going with a basic log manifold...pic looks good. What diameter tubing are you using on the runners, and then for the collector?

2" runners going to 2 1/2" uppipe.

It fits very well behind the motor mount bracket. Don't worry

Couple more.... I'll be finishing it tomorrow along with the downpipe, atleast that's the plan. Waiting for the electrician to come and wire in an outlet for my tig welder this afternoon.

Yes.

I had another fabricator do this one for me since I'm just now getting my tig welder set up at the shop. I'll finish the uppipe and downpipe myself(maybe tomorrow), as well as make jigs for a few different manifolds in the near future.

We're still out a while on that though. Running out of space quick, so we'll likely relocate to a larger facility soon for projects like this.

Yeah, they seem to out perform all others and tunning is noticeably easier with a more accurate flow.

Looks like your build is coming nicely! Looks like 09factor has a twin when it comes to turbo manifolds...

Stayed at the shop late again. Got everything installed, filled it with fluids, and noticed an oil leak. I called it quits for tonight, so I'll wrap it up and fire it up tomorrow after I fab up my wastegate dump tube, and etend my maf wiring a bit. Hopefully the base map is good enough to get it up and running on it's own power.
