The answer is "I think so". So far it seems to run on the stock computer but I don't know how well under load yet. There's a bit of a hitchy idle that can be addressed easily by adding a bypass around the throttle. Other than that, it fires right up and runs.

I'm looking for someone to experiment with it further. Anybody who has a Renny engine torn apart they'd like to try it out on, I'd like to talk to.

YAY for more setbacks...
Apparently Atkins left out a side seal, and sent RX7 FD apex seals... Brian is sending me the correct seals, so it will be 3~6 more weeks before I have another opportunity to try and put the motor in. I'm not very confident that it will be ready for deals gap, but we'll see...

I have all the correct / missing seals now. Hopefully it'll be in the car in a couple weeks before Deals Gap.

Engine was stacked last night. Picking it up tonight, and HOPEFULLY, it'll be in the car and running by Sunday if we have no more set backs.

Engine is in... major fuel leak somewhere, so I have to take the top half of the motor apart again and find the source... I'll update with pics and a video etc once everything is working properly.

Congrats on getting it in. Hopefully the fuel leak is easy to sort out.

yea, hopefully it's just like a fuel line that isn't plugged in completely or something really simple. I'll be a little pissed if something is broken etc. I won't know till I get home and can rip the top of the motor off. I know that after 6 days of working on this thing, I'm getting a little stressed out and tired.

<3 5 hours of sleep in 3 days...

well luckily there is only 1 fuel line!

Most likely its a pinched O ring did you use a good amount of grease when you were installing the injectors?

Apparently my friend helping me with everything didn't make sure the line "snapped" in... So the fuel issue is resolved. now I just have to deal with it running like ***. seems to be fine above idle, so I just have to tune the idle before i really drive it. It's pretty throaty with the HKS Hi-Power. I'll post some more info tonight if I get time. I have to work on some things for DGRR.

Awesome. Glad it's in and running. Are you still trying to get everything worked out to get it down to DGRR?

B
Why add a throttle bypass bleed hole?
Set the idle a bit higher in the tune.

The talk of drilling the TB made my skin crawl as well. Even if you are planning to have someone else tune it, it is so easy to raise the idle in accesstuner. What am I missing?
