Mazda is replacing my factory engine next week for compression issues next week. Once I get that back we'll get the bridge port together and in the car. I've almost finished painting it.

Are you going to rebuild the reman with the new irons or is there another motor that will be built?

The reman is going on the shelf as a "just in case". Separate engine, but it has to be collected before I swap out this new engine and void my warranty.

After WAY too much time wasted in completing this project, it's finally going to be in the car in the next 3-4 weeks. I'm hoping to assemble the engine by next week, but i have the weekend with my daughter next weekend, so the swap would be the following weekend at the earliest. Depends on how fast we can get the base maps back so the thing will attempt to run right.

Front cover is painted. Just have to finish painting the rest of the motor over the next couple days, and it'll be ready to assemble.

Nothing Gold Can Stay
By Robert Frost

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

It's actually a metallic burnt orange, but they call it "copper". I think its more orange than copper though.

That is looking good. I was going to paint mine but then I realized I wouldn't be able to really see it painted. However gold will be quite noticeable.

lol... no

We're pressing in the rotor bearings as soon as the tool comes in this week. We'll get it put together this weekend if the tool comes in in time. We'll get it in the car as soon as I can get a base map from MM after that, but I'm not going to pay for the tuning service till we're ready to install the motor. So it's all coming together...

You wont see it from the OP...

After about 3 engines (in and out) his Bridgeport Failed after a short time on the road, so Philip went back to stock and after a few unrelated issues..he has sold his car.

Now owns a Subaru..

If you see this Philip, contact me..

Bridge Port in a RENESIS is a fail.

Yeah, it just doesn't seem like a good idea. After reading the PDF on changes between the 13b REW and Renesis, the port size increase on the Renny is already 50% or so. Any increase in port size is going to have reduced increases compared to older 13b's.
