The fitting I have pushes the hose too far back and causes a kink which would restrict flow to the pan and cause premature failure of the line. I didn't come this far to have everything get screwed up by that so I'm going to do it right today.

^ are you talking about the fitting I cut?

does it need to be shorter? Taylor Hose?

Yeah cutting it helped but it's just 1/2" to far out and cause a kink. I'm going to Taylor at 11 and taking the day to finish this bitch.

I may try to swing by there after a while....I am bored at work because I have a case of the mondays....or is it going to be a week of "I cannot wait to get my freaking parts in and dont feel like doing ****"

What's the best way to prime the turbo? Disconnect the ESS and crank it a few times?

Yes that will get oil to all the needed areas.

Another day, another glitch. Got her fired up, started perfectly. And then...............

Coolant leak at the turbo The plugs on the opposite side of the turbo were leaking. I used Teflon and it was basically gone when I pulled the plugs out tonight. I replaced them with better plugs and sealed them with copper RTV. Now I just have to wait 24 hours for the RTV to cure.

The saga continues.

I have 3 leaks right now - can't be assed fixing them . 9K .... Did anyone mention to you that "**** happens" when you turbo these cars ?
