why the beef with acosta? i thought acosta already built a 20b rx8 that has been rated very highly. i was actually in between acosta, mazsport, and crispeed when shopping for the 20b conversion. i went with scott due to his meticulous/perfectionist approach and proven customer service. i'd probably have gone with crispeed or acosta if scott had told me he can't deliver what i wanted.
i plan to move to tampa in a few years, so i also wanted to establish a strong history with a local shop for other future projects as well.
as far as the whp is concerned, i don't have any specific goals. i once asked scott whether he can build me a reliable 10sec 1/4mi car with 50/50 balance that'll see autox/track action once every month or two. he said certainly, and here we are. i'll let him worry about the details though i really love the guy haha i'll definitely let u guys know when dyno numbers are out. i wouldn't expect any numbers until feb or march though. don't these engines need to be broken in first before the dyno? eh i'm sure scott'll think of something.
anyway, happy new year!

We can't deny that Scott does some inovative things with the 8 so I would support him as well.
Another 20B conversion shop is Alamo Rotary down in Texas I believe. They did a 3-rotor 8 and has been passed around a bit I believe or was that Acosta?
Very interested in the outcome of this project and I wish the best of luck to both you and Scott.

well the meticulous work of scaott at mazsport should make everyone who uses him feel safe and understand that they will get a great product... i think if scott tells you he can do it... there is no question after that

OK, you didn't answer the REAL question that's been on everyone's mind. What's the mpg going to be? And are you going to use synthetic.

No really, that's freakin sweet. What are you roughly plopping down?
How much is overall weight going to increase?
What size tires are you going to be running?
