Hello from across the pond! 2008 231 Owner here.

I'm going to be doing a Carputer or Tablet install in my car. ( Haven't decided yet ) I don't have the sat nav system fitted but i can get them from breakers/eBay. How hard is it to wire up the Open Close buttons to a power source. e.g Cig Lighter. I spent 30 minutes using the search button but didn't find anything. Anyone have a guide?

I would also recommend the FAQ thread and simply scrolling through the first couple pages of topics here. You don't even have to search to find them...

Mind telling me what you searched for then. I searched Sat Nav, Tablet, Carputer, and there was nothing about how to wire the power too the motor. Only people showing there Carputers

Pretty sure some of those showing off their CarPC setups are using the factory open/close buttons too.
