COBB AccessPort

COBB AccessPort
Sorry for starting the already started thread but I want to see if anyone can give me an in depth analysis of ALL the perks of the AccessPort and what benefits it can bring to a stock RX8, a lightly modded rx8 (exhaust system, air filter, fuel injectors, etc), and a fully modded (bridge/street ported, upgraded fuel system, perfect race street tires *not slicks*, turbo, etc) RENESIS engine. I wanna know all the upsides for the Renesis cause that's the engine I'm working with. I know a good bit about the AccessPort and what it can do but I'm looking for someone to clear up all the question I ask myself about it . Is it really this so called amazing tuneing device or is it only good up to a certain point . I'm sorry if this is considered a "dumb thread" or its one that's been asked a million times I'm just trying to solve the whole problem at one time I wanna know the limits it can go or if it's limitless . If there's anyone that is like RotaryGod when it comes to knowledge about this I would really appreciate if you explained it all to me . I know it's a long question to answer but this would really clear thing up for me and I'm sure it would help a lot of other people too !

Reviving existing threats instead of starting new ones
This forum has solved at least 20 issues on the restoration and build of my 04 GT MT. Love u guys. But I'm at the point where I'm prepping for a COBB V2 Accessport. Problem: They dont make them anymore and I cant find one used. Additionally, MazdaManiac stated that they are ceasing programming V2's and dont program V3's. Help me out here. I checked the forums but didnt see anything. Did I miss something or I am just beat?

VersaTuner or MazdaEdit should work fine for you.
Edit:
Sorry I'm assuming for tuning/custom ecu mapping
If you just want to log and view data points there are plenty of solutions for that purpose.
I like the Kiwi tool https://www.plxdevices.com/Kiwi-OBD-...tics-s/195.htm
