sounds like your temp gauge is reading low.. it should be at least ~ 195 after warm...

Mine will hit 208-210 F just sitting at a long traffic signal in 80 degree weather. Normal highway temps for me, at 80 mph and 75F, are around 190-200ish.

220 seems like a good value to set your peak ... at least until the hotter part of the summer rolls around. I expect mine to get to 220 when we get into the 100+ F range around here.

Thanks for the peak suggestions.

I got my oil press/temp adaptor in swimingly today. Wasn't nearly as difficult as I anticipated. Installed the temp sensor and wired it up no problem, same with the pressure sensor.

Then I went to start the car and the gauges go through their opening ceromny. Then the oil press gauge starts beeping and flashing at me. The oil and water temp work fine. I thought the oil press gauge was beeping because the sender was bad, but I start the engine and it bounces up to 30 psi. I rev it and it swings up to 60 and goes back down- so it's working. But now it's freaking out on me! I'm starting to wish I got non warning gauges! Just to be safe I reset the warning peak for the oil press all the way to 120 to make sure it wasn't freaking because of that, but that didn't stop it. So I really don't understand it now. Oh well, I'll *try* to mute it and just worry about it later I guess.

take care with the temps--notice oil pressure also if you are running 5w20. do search lots of info and things you can do to help with temp concerns.

Same problem here wafer, everything was working fine then the oil pressure gauge started to beep and flash. Cannot shut it off or mute it. What is going on?

You said "everything was working fine.." probably means you didnt connect the wire ends on the oil pressure sender wires to the oil pressure gauge wires correctly... ( i have the same problem b/c it works then sometimes doesnt, but havent had time to rewire ) You cannot mute it??? i didnt even read the instructions and got it to mute by holding the button down while starting the engine i think....

I did get it to hold mute for about 3 seconds at start up. My bad. Then it goes back to flashing and beeping again! I will double check the connections tomorrow. Just seems funny that everything was working then after 20 miles it started to beep and flash?

I did not set any peaks. Why would the gauge beep and flash if you did not set any peaks?

my oil press gauge is still flashing and beeping. I have to mute it on start up every drive now. I have triple-checked my wiring for it. I'm calling ProSport on Monday to get to the bottom of it. Hopefully they will be able to lend me some assitance. I'm still perplexed because the oil press gauge is working and functioning properly, just flashing. So that means it's hooked up right and all.

Otherwise, my oil temp and water temp gauges have been working flawlessly. I'm just wondering; I guess my water temp seems a little low- I average 178-180 while crusing on the freeway. Perhaps it is where I installed the adaptor? I installed it where RB said to- on the pre-heater hose right near the UIM and the exit cooling line for the throttle body. I am guessing I'm getting a reading of the coolant right after the radiator, before being heated by the engine?

Cruising on the highway, I am at about 180 with my Nexus gauge. All the air coming in the engine keeps it cool.

I'm probably going to go with the Prosport gauges as well. They seem to be a decent match for the factory gauges, although not exact. Prosport does not offer a wideband O2 sensor yet and may not till the end of the year. Anyone find a decently matched wideband O2 sensor? I might go with an AEM digital wideband O2.

When I talked to Prosport a month ago they told me thay may have the wideband ready by June 07.

yeah the ProSport wideband O2 should be ready soon.

And the ProSports match the stock gauges 95% I would say. Day time white is a little off, the the night time red is spot on. If you disable the blue LED's in the stock gauge cluster then it will be 99.99%. The only ones I've Heard of matching better are the Defi gauges, but at $260+ for a single gauge- well, that's as much as I spent for ALL 3 of my ProSports

Ha! I'll have to make sure I keep the shrouds on my gauges chic so we don't have matching interiors!

The gauge pod worked out really well...the Prosport gauges also installed without too much trouble. Hardest part was wiring in the color scheme.

I tried to use my hoods but I could not get the gauges to set properly. The hoods were pressing against eachother keeping the gauges from going all the way back.

Are your gauges seated all the way back in the pod.....in other words did you force them?

Guys, I think this looks great. I just finished ordering the pod itself and I'm in the process of ordering the Prosport Gauges. I'm going to go with the Prosport adapters as well and the plate for the Oil Temp/Pressure is pretty self explanatory, but I don't know what size to choose for the water temp adaptor. Did anyone here use the Prosport adaptor for water temp and if so, can you tell me what size adaptor we need?
