Thanks Kane. That concludes my mods for this year.

Next Step: convincing the missus that 7K is a worthwhile investment to get 300hp at the wheels.

Any one buy the prosport water adapter and if so what size did you get? I can't seem to find the ID of the radiator hose. That would save me the trouble of getting the RB adapter and using an additional adapter to fit the prosport gauges.

WOW! So so so nice.

I bought 2nd hand one and the finished is not perfect.

How did you do it?
Was it DIY? Sand down & paint?
Or a paint shop? Is in in bay area?

Thanks.

One more question.
Does piano color reflect a lot of light to the front wind shield and make it difficult to see in day time?

hey i am in san francsico too!

thanks! believe it or not it was not easy to bond the two pieces together. a lot of cutting, sanding, body filling to make the two pieces look as if it is once piece. i did all the molding and bonding work myself except for the painting.

the whole project took me about 2 weeks because i was lagging, but if you have time and are dedicated, i believe you can get this done within 2-3 days. the good thing about this is that the fitment is 110% perfect because you still retain the oem piece.

I don't think anyone make two pod version.
It will look like flog eyes.

Get one of these https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.ph...85#post2913885
The pod look awesome!

Drop a volt meter in to make them a set of three.

Just installed the Lotek pos with Prosport gauges and very happy with the finish of the pod matches my dash perfectly, colour matches and finish grain is slightly larger but unless you looking for it you can't tell the difference. Looks like it came from the factory. The Prosport gauges seem to spot on with water temp matching the obd perfectly, not sure about the oil temp and pressure though no way to compare. Checked with a infrared temp gauge and about 5 to 10 degrees less the the oil temp gauge so perhaps spot on also.

06 Shinka, LS2 coils, Turboxs cat back with Turboxs cat mid pipe

Clean fit on the prosports, not so much on the PLX AFR gauge.

UPDATE: I finally installed the prosport premium gauges (water temp, oil pressure, and oil temp) with the lotek pod.
I connected the coolant temp sensor to the engine coolant drain plug and I used the glowshift oil filter adapter for the pressure and temp sensor.
