New LEDs. Wow! Bright!
What is the difference between these two bulbs that are both 6k? One has B/O at the end of it but i don't know what that means.

So I just got my 194's in last night and got them installed, I did the Foglight re-wire so my fogs come on separately from my other lights also
I also installed my HID fogs from VVME and OMG the right foglight as you can see below is not working correctly.. what could be the cause? I dont think I touched the bulb while installing it but maybe I did.. any help or ideas?

I hope so, if I have to send it back will there be an issue with it because the way we did it was splice the cables with the original bulb harness. I have sent them an email aready and with pics
Shouldnt be a problem IMO
HIDs get a bad rap for being unrealiable but, once you get the kinks worked out and get good ballasts you shouldnt have any problems
also when you take the bulb out think about if you want to take the reflective housing out from in front of the bulb...just something that some people do and like
dispurses the light a little more on the sides...just and idea...color temp will change slightly too

If you take the metal shields out, oncoming drivers will be looking directly at the HID capsule, they will no longer be directed at the ground (fog lights) they will be aimed right at peoples eyes(horrible ricey dazzlers)
This is what gets HID upgrade kits a bad name......
(This is why we can't have nice things!)

I'd definitely give them a couple days to see what happens, but it may be that you just got a bad bulb.
i have full LED interiors in both my 8s and they both did it when I put the LEDs in but, after they broke in (a few weeks) i had no problems
i have this 194 SMT LED for all my interior/exterior 194 bulbs:

I have ran 20 of these bulbs for about a year and a half now with no problems (map lights, courtesy lights, license plate, trunk, side markers, parking lights) X 2
may be too bright for some people as far as interior lights go

Mine still flicker as well as my footwells if I recall correctly. I remember reading in this thread it had to do with the fact that LEDs arent meant to dim like oem lights so the tend to flicker.
It talks about using a capacitor to get rid of the flicker, but I'm still not sure why I don't have any issues with my LEDs. I have footwell LEDs, as well as the door and dome LEDs that do not flicker, and fade off when the door closes.

Honestly I don't know. I thought they were only used in audio applications. But I do know that many people here have LEDs in their cars without the need for any extra equipment (except resistors if you're using them for the blinkers).
Plus, the one guy says that a with a capacitor you'd lose the dimming effect. Not really desirable...

After just 4 months of running my HID fogs, one of the bulbs died already. How does the warranty work with VLEDS. Am I suppose to send the whole kit back? The ballast are mounted on and everything already. Are these H11 kits prone to failure like this?
