Could you post pics from behind?
And the steel is 304 you can extend them, but if they are off center it will not help. The agency power exhaust has tips that stick way out and they have a greater issue of melting shouds, because they are to close to the outer walls.

That's not the case with the TurboXS catback. My shrouds melted because the tips don't extend far enough. I'm positive of that.

My point here is....with your infinite automotive wisdom: feel free to explain to me why it is THIS exhaust burns up exhaust shrouds with a stock cat when other exhausts do NOT. Again, this all leads back to designing a proper exhaust sytem...not to the cat.

Tell me how something melts? Could it be heat?
The comon factor among people that have had an issue with this exhaust have a cat. As a matter of fact I have not heard one person that has removed the cat report an issue.
How come after 4500 miles I and countless other have had no issue?
Other Exhaust DO melt shrouds
The Agency Power exhaust eats shrouds for lunch and the tips extend way beyond the shrouds. I have also seen Borla and HKS melt shrouds.

How many people have you personaly seen this exhaust without a cat melt the shrouds?

I PERSONALLY have seen Toca's race car with burnt up exhaust shrouds. Would you like pics of it?
Face it: this exhaust has grown a reputation on this forum for melting exhaust shrouds...that does not happen with just one or two incidents, it is because of a pattern.
If you've never seen an RB melt a shroud and I presonally know and have seen 6 RB exhausts (WITH stock cat) NOT melt a shroud, then how can the cat be the culprit? Are you saying that when you mix the stock cat with THIS exhaust, it somehow then MAGICALLY causes THIS (poorly designed exhaust) to melt shrouds??

Tell me why myself and countless other have had no issues, if the exhaust is so flawed we should all have the issue.
You argument holds NO grounds.
Heh, look at that I can use caps and bold text too.
