^^^Are you serious? Are you just messing with everyone? I can barely find any info on melt/melted/bumper/shroud/etc, let along anything truely specific on the turboxs or cat vs. catless. I really think you're just being a dick.

You argument holds NO grounds.
Heh, look at that I can use caps and bold text too.

This would be the same for any aftermakret exhaust running with no cat on a rotary engine - that has tips designed like the TurboXS ones. The reason why you dont hear this complaint from other exhaust owners is because those tips sit far out enough for the heat to exit behind the car. The TurboXS one sits so far in(approximately 4 to 5 inches) from the end of the shroud that the exhaust heat is not emmited from behind the car.
This is why i had my tips replaced within 24 hours of installing the exhaust.
The 3" turbo xs exhaust is great, just designed very poorly for our car. By replacing the tips tho... you shouldnt have any issues.
Oh and also how the hanger on my exhaust they sent, blocks access to installing one of the bolts was extremely annoying. Took 2 hours to chop the hanger off so we could get the bolt in properly.

I knew there was a problem with the design the moment i put it on my car. I did not need to wait for things to go wrong to fix it.

Congrats on not having issues, but that doesnt mean other people havent, and other people in teh future will.
Saying yours hasnt melted and therefore the system works fine is ridiculous. Thats the equivalent of someone saying - I put in a turbo kit, plugged the emanage in and drove it - motor still hasnt blown - therfore tuning isnt neccesary.

I just ordered this exhaust today. For the price you cant beat it. I bought it with the intentions of getting new tips anyways, and still after adding tips (And correcting the possible allignment problem) should come out cheaper than most other exhaust midpipe combos.
TurboXS actually claims 24hp, of course thats most likely exagerated, but still it should produce decent power. Im hoping for 12-15hp. That would make me happy. I guess ill have to wait and see.

I don't mind pistons
Am I the only one who though he lost power with the exhaust. I don't think I actually did, but because its SO much louder and not THAT much more powerful, you feel as if the car should be going faster. Any one else experience this?
Also, when I went back to stock it felt faster.
I still love the exhaust, don't get me wrong.

24whp is very likely if it was a turbo'd car going from stock cat/stock exhaust - to the full 3" system. On an NA Car i would be suprised if it was even 10whp.

HEHE
Heres a good rule of thumb.
Measure gains with a dump behind your headers. No Cat - No Catback, Nothing.
This increase in power is the more than your car will ever get from any sort of Exhaust Product. Its the roof, the ceiling. If that roof is less than what a company claims for increase in power - that company is lying to you.
Now, how much is that ceiling is on a NA RX8? - Its already been dyno'd and shown. Good luck searching kids

Then tell me this, what % would you guess have had an issue out of the people who have bought it?
5%, 10%? does that make the exhaust flawed by design?

I never knew there could be such hate towards one little ol' exhaust. Did you guys get beat by mufflers when you were younger? Its only an exhaust chill out. Yeah I know Digital is a bit extreme in the other direction. You dont want to know what a muffler did to him.
Point being who cares. If some poeple are happy with it, so be it. Others are not happy, replace it. Sounds like every other product on the market today. Some like it, some dont.
