what?
I pulled 203 whp at my last dyno day.
if you're referring to the BHR ignition, it was due to a broken spark plug wires. The wire broke in the boot where it does a 90 degree bend to the coil. (both trailings were broken)

Jon, how much did this cost you? Even though I am too afraid to dyno my car. I'm sure it was fun though.

Listen to Chicken, don't let a number get you down!

Your curves look smooth so maybe the dyno was underestimating yor output. Just like others have said it looks like they should have taken in higher up into the redline. If they stopped at 8500 rpms on your tach then it will be lower than that. Next time take it to 9000 since the tach reads higher than the output.

It costs $65 for 3 runs and an additional $10 for AFR reading (which I recommend).

I was a little bummed... but I really did this to verify that my tune was going smoothly and my car was operating like it should.
I wasn't going there expecting HUGE gains.
The power curve looks awesome, but the lower numbers and the roughly 2.0 AFR difference from start to finish made me wonder if something was wrong.

I think its the dyno, 65 for 3 runs and 10 for the AFR. The shop im going to its 75 for 3 pulls and 25 for the wideband reading. Im planning on dyno'ing my new 8 to see how healthy the engine is.

Oh I know Jedi I was just saying something may be wrong. You never know.

John I cant find my dyno slip. I will have to ask my other half where I put it. Anyway when I find it I will list the list of mods and when I get my new goodies installed I will do some more runs

Well wat was the day like? Was it ultra hot and humid or was it a nice cool day?

But seriously, if your friends car is 20whp than normal why dont you ask them to check it out?

Seems quite low with the mods you have... Maybe its the dyno. Cause when I had similar mods as you I ran 201.5 hp and 143 tq

How many times do you have to be told by people who dyno strong numbers in an RX-8 that the linked thread above is BS

BS!!!!!!

It's an insult to this entire forum that such BS is posted as a sticky.

The OPs graphs don't look too bad, plenty of people have seen much worse ....
