I just got my confirmation email for this weekend. That makes it feel like it is almost here. Now the wait begins, the days will drag I am sure.

I just realized something... I've bitten every one of my freaking fingernails off!

OK, I did it. I thought I wouldn't, but I got a package in the mail today. The label on it says "Racing Beat" in big blue letters.

I've realized I'm a shitty driver and now have to resort to driving aids.



After seeing my front tires eaten down to the cords at TGPR and the body roll I have compared to everyone else, I decided I needed that and more front neg. camber.

 

What you need is more front neg cowbell.

 

Ok I will be at Charlies at 3pm for a trans fluid change-(been 3 track events and about 15kmiles and a good brake flush.
I wonder how my carbo tech panter 8's measure up to the hawks? I run them on the front and swap out to stock pads for the street and on the back i am running the car bo techs bobcats. I had them at roebling and dannngggg!
News-- my power band after the grounding wires does give me a much smoother 8k-9k. No kidding--it seems like the power doesnt stop like it used too. May be my imagination. But, I now offically declared my shift point is now 9k(if it is not at a point in the track that requires a short shift) Seems you may be right Mr STF.
I have taken my engine cover and custom made a wall hanging for the RX8 club that I will give to Charlie/and Club and maybe he can find a space for it somewhere. I am not a pro but I think it turned out ok. Plexiglass insert, Mazda Logo and custom trim on it and little aluminm name plates for all of us. Hope yall like it.

Me! At least if I can sneak out early from work I will. I'm shooting for aroun 3-4pm.

 

I have offered to be the guy who goes up to RA to claim our space at paddock. But if the group opinion is that it will not be necessary to tdo that, I will be at mazcare around 4:30.

well hot damn, us noobs get to go out on track first. i guess it pays off to be a noob sometimes.

I also just realized, for DE 1 we only get 6 sessions this time. 3 a day. That is 1 less per day than we had in august. I wonder what gives.

 

L8, We apparently will be able to get in all night long since camping is allowed. I don't think they would block off our area would they?

 

it is not so much our area being blocked, as it is our area being used by someone other than us. And that area is not that big to start with. So I have a suspicion that we are going to end up spread out anyway.

So I guess it is not a big deal, so I too will be at Mazcare. Two days in a row for me, Thursday the car goes in for a physical.

 

I am not excited!

 

We will prob be at Mazcare around 6 ish or so. I am so looking forward to meeting everyone! I will be the tall pale guy with the hawt g/f!
