I've had to cancel out, and am quite sad about it. There are some health issues of late, and don't feel comfortable not being 100% for this adventure.

I'll miss hangin with my homies.....

Usually we get there around 4 or 5. The shop closes at 6 so they usually are pretty busy. I'll check withthem to see what time we can get there.
Rxeightr - sorry to hear you are not feeling too good and can't make this one. Hope to see you in Savannah.

Hey TA
I just got one off ebay. Couldn't see myself paying over $100 for a bunch of wire. But, I was too lazy to make one up for myself.
I dont think I can feel any real power gain but my idle is smoother for sure.

I had to replace my passenger side front rotor. The one that got warped at before TGPR. Getting it turned didn't help that much. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Just 7 bolts total actually and the screws which had to be removed with an impact driver. Here's a picture. I thought it was pretty cool. Shows a lot of the hardware. Now I've got track and regular rotors. Mazmart is great!

Guys, I have GOOD news. Ever wanted to see a GT35R equipped Audi TT, prepped with wide body kit and R compounds, driven by a chic? Ever wanted to see an R32 with R compounds, driven by an Rugby player?

Well, I am proud to announce my good buddy SPencer and his wife are coming down, however I wish he was bringing the Vic in place of the R32. 450WHP, custom suspension, and BIG brakes. He has run a 1:48 in that car, with a bad shift controller, on STREET tires. Unbelievable. (Police Inceptor)

Anyway, I am siked now, I wish my wife was coming down, Silver 8, would you be willing to tutor her, she is in Photography class right now, and would love some help.

OD, if you dyno'd again, you would see alot smoother power curve, near the top of the powerband. The wires really help spark, and making the engine more effecient at the edge. Evos see about 5WHP with this mod. When I get more fuel, and a bigger turbo, it will be in the package for me too.

thanks STF. after replacing the coils, putting rb wires on, new plugs and the grounding wires my ignition system is in relative good shape. I am running better than I ever have.
My real excitement is my track wheels and tires. With the overall gear reduction I will be acclerating stronger than I ever have before. The 8 with its wide rpm range LOVES lower gearing.
I will have to take it easy Saturday. It will be my 1st time on RA with my new suspenion and r compunds. Its a whole new car. By Sunday I will be back to 8/10-9/10 driving --I hope.
Starting to get excited. Have to figue out how to load all 4 tire/wheels in my car.
Pam it will be great to see you again.
derwankel--i still want that spoiler dude!

Brand new set of HP+ are on - front and rear. My front HP+ pads had seen action at Roebling, Rockingham, and TGPR plus about 4000 street miles. They had about 60% left so I am hanging on to them as spares. My rear HPS had the same track action plus an additional 3-4K of street miles. They were worn down with only about 33% remaining. I think I am now all set for RA. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there! It is really close now.
