NASA March 18/19 Road Atlanta
OK thats it. I think I'll do one photoshop, then call it a night.
I know I didn't even come close to getting a shot of everyone, and if I missed you, I am so sorry. I had some major brain farts in trying to figure out how to use the camera and spent most of the first day taking pictures of the track after y'all had driven by already!!!

Red, those look great, I am impressed.
Ok, for the guys who asked my driving questions, it goes like this.
When I was 8, I wanted a motorcycle. At 9, Dad got sick of this, and bought me a go-kart for racing. Fast forward 9 years, I was undefeated in VA, NC, and SC, and held fast times at over 30 tracks. I spent, on average, 3 weekends month at the track in the spring/summer, and usually every weekend in the off-season, prepping and testing. I typically missed over 50 days per school year for races, and basically was schooled by my parents, although, I have a diploma. In 1991, I was in two car magazines, rated in the top 3 drivers in the world, however, this was a huge over statement.
By the time I was 18, I had offers to go to Nascar, (Dupont), but turned them down to try for F1. That never panned out, although I had a chance to meet with Bruce McLaren.
So, to answer your question, most of what I know was learned, not natural, however, I would rate myself at about 50% of what I used to be able to do in a car.

EDIT:
I since that there must have been a let down after the F1 didn't pan out. Kind of like an all or nothing?

RSD, I think the best way to handel the images will be to post them on the GARX8Club site. Register at http://garx8club.com and go to the "Gallery" Under the heading "Driving Schools" is an album called NASA @ Road Atlant March 2006. I have created an nested album for you named "RedSheDevil" for you to put all the images you like into. This way we can keep all of the track shots from different individuals in one place. Plus, we get you signed up on our site to add more fun
I placed an image in there already...

looks good though, i like it.
LOL, just tell me which ones and I'll email them to you. Full size is about 2MB each.
That goes for any of you.
I'm still struggling to catch up with work since I've been gone, so I haven't posted all the pics yet. I'll get over to the GA site and post em up too.
Or, Silver, do you want the full size pics on your site? Now that I have three places to put them, I'm confused as to who wants what and where ....

andy left the building, i think he had a cab to catch...
Who said it didn't
Let's just say, decisions were made to send me another way, without me knowing. I had room and board, plane booked, and was about to leave, then got cold feet. I never felt I was to that level, despite what other said. You don't understand, there were less than 10 drivers out of those 62, who I would say could be aware enough for me to drive at 100%. Not because the other are slow, no, but because the others don't have the ability of 'presence' which is being aware of where a car is, that you never see come up. I can hear 'foot' steps, and from them, I can tell you where a car is, and whether, I can move over, without ever looking.
The force is strong with me son.....

Yes, master STF, the force is with you!
and we are lucky to have you amungst us in training! Thanks for hanging with us.
RSD, what L8 said. this is the best place to put them because when you put them in the gallery, it gives us multiple sizes and will retain the large format so anyone can download it from there. It's really a cool place to show.
