Well, I did my analysis, and I was averaging 1:44:0's in traffic on Sunday. I figure on Saturday, I was hovering around 1:42's. As much as I would like to think the 1:39 was legit, I am not sure, but I am closer than ever. Next trip, I will be sub 1:40's.

Omg! One is 122 MB and the other is 149MB. I'm downloading them now but will have to watch them later. These are HUGE puppies. I could tell by the lead frame in Session 2 that this is going to be awesome. At the 200 marker and you are in spitting distance from that white vette! Can't wait to watch them. I'll get back with you tomorrow as I have to get up at 5:00 in the morning and I'm turning into a pumpkin now! Later!

STF, I will have to download yours at home tonight, it would take all day on our DSL connection here, and then I would not be able to watch them. But I will.

I watched my last session from Sunday last night, and I need to work on my camera mount. For some reason, I got a lot of vibration in it this time, that I have not had before. Kinda sucks, good video gone bad really.

 

I have an answer for that!

 

yeah I bet, but you probably have the equivalent of half a set of tires invested in your camera mount. I need something inexpensive. The one I have has worked for the other events I have used it for, I am not sure what went wrong. I only watched one session, and it had some very shaky points, mostly when I was on the rumble strips. Sound quality was great though.

 

Hell yeah - you didn't read my post? I dont know how the weekend got away that I didn't get a chance to ride with you in HPDE4. Although I must say with teh speeds you were carrying and the lack of a roll bar or cage made me nervous. Not to mention when you mentioned the brake pedal going to the floor into 10A. I am claiming a ride with you at Roebling. Your driving is excellent and you really keep your head in traffic. It sure is busy out there when you have a helmet on so your peripheral vision is obstructed and traffic is moving at 100+. There is no such thing as mainting your lane either so if you dive bomb someone into turn 1 and they didn't see you... ouch.
Still, I want a ride in May.

 

I got some Vids downloaded now. The spin one is great. I need to have a place to upload them to though. Silver, what can I do?

Hi all y'all!!! I have to go to work now BUT ... couldn't do so without first stopping in and saying a HUGE THANKS for all of your southern hospitality!!! I am truly amazed at the guts all of you have in taking turn 12 at the speeds you did! I'm sure I got some great pics that show your front drivers side practically scraping the track as you roll on through.

I'm sure I can speak for both Blue and myself in saying we really felt like GARX8 members (and have the appropriate garb to match too!!) There could not have been a more welcoming group of people around.

I will post pics (you want them here or on the GA site?) and the proper thanks to all of you after I finish getting yelled at by clients for having left the state

You should have heard the two of us on the trip back: we was fixin to stop for a Coke (Mountain Dew) and check the "ole." We still have no idea what Big Red is and the "tea" was actually TOO sweet for me at one point. I'm workin on liking grits (now that I know how to eat them properly) and will always have a big grin on my face as I remember OD saying "You guys have a good trip!"

Fabulous weekend and a fantastic new group of friends ... life just doesn't get any better than this.
