What did you do with your RX8 today?
removed throttle body for a good cleaning. Didn't really look that dirty with only 37000 miles on it, but an old toothbrush and some CRC really cleaned it up quickly. Put it all back together and she idles at a rock steady 900-940 and my periodic idle stumble is gone.
The main problem with them was the previous owner put some kind of clear protected film and it was peeling. And every where it peeled it was very cloudy and slightly yellow. Looked like ****.
Looks almost %100 new. Would recommend removing the bumper to get the inside corner better.
This was the kit I used. It says to reapply every 6 months.

Repaired 2 sun visors.4 vice grips, 400 & 600 grit sand paper, Dremel tool ,J-B Weld. The J-B Weld cost me approx $4.00. 2 new sun visors cost approx $150.00 each. Saved approx $296.00 sweet! lol.
