Had the car towed out of my basement garage onto my parking spot.

Now waiting for the transport company on Monday to deliver her to RotaryMotion for the engine swap.

Meanwhile browsing for all the nice things I can buy from the price difference to a swap at the dealer's.

Washed and installed a burnout replica lip. Fitment was actually really good. I'll be selling it along with the bumper in the next couple of weeks though. Ended up with a great deal on a mazdaspeed front that needed paint and a little bit of work. Hopefully pics of that by the end of next week :D

Installed OEM tow hooks for ***** and giggles, and compounded/waxed headlights. Got them looking brand new, then gave her a good bath. Solid day

I am thinking of getting them myself, since these seem to be the only really legal aftermarket lights in Germany. How is the fitment?

Got my BHR Ignition Kit installed. Very impressed with it. Worth every penny!

Also took the time to change out the cabin air filters since they were nasty and changed the oil since I'm sure it was due to be changed anyways.

The smooth idle and better throttle response are really nice. I'm loving this kit!

Installed Progress Technology sway bars front and rear and man what a difference in handling and slightly firmer steering. Anyone with these bars have any recommended settings? I'm running middle on the front and soft on the rear.

I bought all of them used as a complete set in eBay for $240, if you buy them brand new it will run you close to $800. All I had to do was just buy the Q Clips specific for the car, adjusted the length, and measure the placements.

YAKIMA Q-Tower (4)
YAKIMA Lock Cores (4)
YAKIMA 48" Crossbar (2)
YAKIMA Q-60 Clip (4) includes the silicone A Pads
YAKIMA 44" Wind Fairing
YAKIMA BasketCase Cargo Basket

Drove without any shoes on. Sounds weird but you can really feel alot more. Made driving even more fun although I've heard it's illegal.

There's a reason why proper racing shoes are basically padded soft leather socks with thin rubber bottoms.

Some bad driver totaled my last RX8 by hitting it while it was parked outside a Fred Meyer. Blessing in disguise, the engine needed long term rebuild and such that I was preparing for. The insurance company handed me cash for a newer RX8 mileage wise. (Mine had 128,000+ mi).

I drove a combined ten hours yesterday to purchase my second RX8, a 2004 Nordic Green with 77,000 miles, 6 SP (GT trim, full options, body kit) and I registered her with the state and paid taxes today.

I need to take a picture for updating the profiles, ha.

Kdispel, sorr to hear about your 8 being totalled but as you said, it appears to have been a blessing in disguise.
congrats on the NG, don't see too many of those on the road.

car has been neglected recently so after 5+ months, took the cover off, pulled her out of the garage and did 2 coats of Zaino Z2.
now back in the garage until I can replace the O2 sensors. (hopefully next week, just waiting on parts)
