Removed all the old busted so called "foam" that the previous owner "sealed" the radiator with, and added some better stuff. Adhesive and liquid nailed it on and doubled it up to make sure i got it nice and sealed in!

Old and busted is on the left, new hotness on the right.

Just added UV interior lights to add a subtle purple glow..in the dome light, map lights and the floorboard will be installed tomorrow with a rocker switch. Wish I could post the pics but you can't really see the color.

I failed my emissions once and my mechanic at the time shared a secret on how to pass emissions no problem. He told me to add one gallon of de-natured alcohol to five gallons of fuel. I failed so bad on HC and such I left and went straight to Home Depot and bought a gallon and added it to five gallons of fuel and went right back(30 minutes) took the emissions test and passed as if the car were new, it works.

I towed mine back to the house after the dealer said I needed a new motor. . . Not ready to accept that diagnosis just yet thanks to RIWWP. But if in fact it is toast, I think I will have a go at rebuilding it myself.

I would suggest you get another opinion. 2 years ago my 8 stopped running. I took it to go Mazda here in Colorado. They charged me $100.00 to check why. They told me I needed a new motor. I took a gamble after some long research and bought plugs , wires and a new OMP. My point is that all Dealers are not equal and I for one after my experience do not trust a dealer as far as I can throw them. They created a 22 page report detailing the things they said were wrong to the tune of $8500.00. Including the new OMP and the plugs/wires , I spent around $1400.00 labor and parts. UGG.

I picked up a new set of front rotors, oil filter, and a 5 qt. mug of Mobil1 0W-40 on sale for $33. I'll get the back rotors next weekend, and ceramic pads the weekend after that.
If the air filter wasn't such a pain, I'd get that too, but only 2500 miles on it, so I think I'll do it every other oil change.
Spacing out the expenses doesn't hurt quite so much.

I have never been a big fan of chrome for any car but the right style can definitely pull it off. I enjoyed my black stockies for a bit but I just feel like all the detail gets lost in a sea of black with the wheels and tires.

As for springs, I had tein s-techs before switching to coilovers and I loved them
heres a pic of them installed on mine.

The black ones are stock 18's. the stechs dropped it down to about a finger and a half gap in the rear and about 2 finger gap In the front. Just remember to preload the springs when you put em on. The coilovers are great, easy is a relative term lol but yea adjusting them isn't difficult, just somewhat time consuming cause you have to take the wheels off to adjust them.
