Anyway, the engine got a fresh change of oil and filter, hit the 180,000 miles mark.

You're welcome, just take your time with the rear bolts for the UIM and the two awkward ones (that I removed as a quick alternative) with the bracket for the two tubes, fuel lines . Then, when you reassemble it back, make sure the rubber o-rings/gaskets for the intake and the vacuum lines are properly placed.

Installed a ground wire kit.. It actually made a big difference. Idles much better and just feels overall stronger.
My grounds must have been sucking it up without my knowledge... Those ******.

These cars will run with bad engines, bad ignition, bad cat, bad fuel pump, etc., etc...
Many things may cause your problem.
Too little info on your part.

I wasn't really being that serious. There are lots of things he should check. It just seem strange to me that someone would have a problem like "sometimes starts bad" and wouldn't really consider that a problem or look any further into it.

yes been doing some research plus this morning I drove it to work the same distance as yesterday and it restarted just perfect then again when home it cranked maybe one extra time. I also know the dealer ran the fuel below the empty line and it does it mostly when it it is low on fuel because today had a full tank. I am going to change the fuel filter today and pull the plugs and have a look also will book in for a compression test on friday after I get paid if for no reason at least peice of mind but thanks for the help everyone

Flipped 27k on the way back from the grocery store.
9k in the year I've had it. I'll probably do way more than that in the upcoming year.
Don't hardly drive my pickup any more, except to ride the dog around or do truck stuff.

Well I have been living with a refrigerant leak for a little while now. So today I decided to locate it and repair it. Found the leak on the high pressure line out of the compressor to the condenser. Called around dealer only part, that kinda sucked. Tried to get one from Mazmart, but there crappy new web site was giving me issues so I called them. Apparently they were to busy to take my money so I just paid the dealer and it will be here tomorrow. So $196.00 later I am trying to get the fan shroud out. Seems my drivers side fan is not spinning as freely as I think it should. So I figured out it has to come out of the bottom after fiddling with it for about an hour. So I guess I will order the motor tomorrow. While taking off the radiator over flow bottle the nipple snapped of the radiator. What sucks is that I barley moved the thing and snap, Oh well, another $200 lol. So I just basically spent $700 on her today. That includes the thermostat I purchased, 3 bottle of 75w90 and two gallons of coolant. I'm considering changing the water pump while I am in there. I would have liked to finish tomorrow, but I wont have anything except the pressure line, so I will do that after I order the other parts. Well that's what I did with the 8 today! Lets see if I can break something else tomorrow?
