umm black 2006 and chickenwafer i just wanted to share something with both of you about wat you were discussing about UTI.... i attended UTI last year and it was a good experience for me and i learned alot from it. but i also saw alot of other students there that thought it was the biggest waste of time and money ever.
i graduated top of all of my classes, and even though i did when i first got out to look for a job every dealership was impressed by my grades and certificates. But...when i finally got a job at a mitsubishi dealership i was started at 10 an hour and did most if not all the oil changes their. i was kinda pissed but i just kept on doing my work and the writers saw that and they would start to give me "real tech work" eventually.
so i just kinda kept climbing the ladder in that dealership and here i am a year later at the same dealership making alot more than wat they started me at. point is even though you think you are not gonna change any oil....the truth is that you are and your gonna have to do it with a smile on your face if not **** will go downhill fast.you just gotta keep working hard for wat you want and eventually you will get there, i did. oh and black,, dont think you will make mad bank your first year, remember you still gotta buy tools and stuff, and that alone has cost me about 5k and thats not counting the matco toolbox im getting in a month or so.
P S sorry to threadjack chet but i just had to get it out there

Sooo....
What base point did you start off of when you decided to invest your money in parts?
You are just too anxious to spend that LARGE sum of money.
How about holding off until you get a couple track days under your belt, then you will be able to feel how you will want your 8 to handle on the track based on the feedback you get from the car.
