Back where I belong
First sports car, my triangle love drew me back in. I still miss it sometimes. '88 TII
Yeah it's more a fun, occasional HPDE, local CS car with the options. But the color combo, maintenance records and 51k adult owned mileage drew me in. $12,500 later and this: '05 with leather, butt warmers, Bose system and most important... Black interior.

Yep, we were parked on the infield @ Nopi Nationals in '99
Going to be a CS autox car, only mod I'm buying is another set of rims for the street and some Hoosiers!

To be legal for stock class in SCCA autox the only mods I can do is replacement shocks (planning on Koni yellows) a front sway bar and I can run Hoosier A6's or Kumho V710's.
Really loving this car thus far!

Check with your inspectors first and see how much knowledge they have. A number of performance sports cars come with coilovers so they might not know any better.
You would be surprised how many people cheat the SCCA over because they see a high volume of cars and could never know every detail. From transmissions that have been reworked, to rear diffs that are far from stock.
