why dont you join us for a mm tuning day in aug? i'm working on something especially if we can get dan's turbo kit onto matt's car soon.

LOL....just seem to be the repository for parts when people turn there cars back to stock. All of my stock parts are gone now......I keep giving them up..or trading for aftermarket stuff and labor. I plan on selling them...but never seem to get around to starting a for sale thread

Still running good? How many miles have you put on the engine?

 

Purrs like a kitten and about 1500 miles. RE used the old bearings as they only had 8K on them. Been logging my AFR's and running Jeff's dyno tune from Portland. Looks great so far.

Only problem was the clutch release bearing. I could not find my new bearing and Dan and I went ahead and installed the engine with the old one. Must have been collecting dust, as it is noisy at times.

Might put it up on the lift at Mazda and drop the tranny to replace it.

She is ready to fly now, and is like night and day different than the previous build. Just feels tight and builds nice speed with light throttle.

Should have my logs checked by MM soon, and if everything looks good, then off to Portland to run the rollers crazy once again.

What happened? Why did you have your motor rebuilt again?

 

Mileage itself doesn't mean much wrt a throwout bearing
