Renesis v2.0

Well, that appears to be the general area of my problem. Moved the top of the clutch fork a bit, I believe... it is hard to manuver down there from up on top. Need it up on a lift now. The result, was a completely awesome idle. There are zero issues with anything engine related. This is strictly a clutch issue.

It is hard to see, what you can feel.
There is a groove or ridge along the bottom back trans side right where the bearing sits on the shaft of the front clutch cover. The bearing gets hung on the groove an does not allow it full movement, thus the ticking sound on the pressure plate. (knocks on wood)

This is not the OEM clutch release bearing also.

Very nice improvement in shift response now, but I believe I can still create the ticking. Now it is almost barely audible. Just so you know, I did not remove the clutch disc. The tech did not really want to disturb the aftermarket parts, and I can get behind that I guess.
So, the car is a blast drive now - really has some punch for a NA. Wet and almost down the wear bars, the T1R's break loose and the fun begins....

replaced the exedy stage one clutch with the same thing.. lube good as new. and the clutch that came out was good as new. brettus is using it now..
my guess is motor change does not equal lube for the throw out bearing shaft. sad.

Yea, this looks like a very small movement of the bearing on that shaft. But, that shaft is fubarred. It's replaced now. Shifts nicely. The new parts has created another odd feeling in the clutch peddle. Only a small instance of the clutch disc grumbling when it needs to perform.
I'm thinking now, that it is just time to replace this clutch maybe. It is the ACT 330lb unit. I could go down to a lower unit and still be fine.
Car runs awesome - just need to get it tweaked a bit. Clutch shopping now?
