wow - now that is interesting - thanks.

btw Cobb Texas fixed my AP today. It turns out my dongle circuit board shorted. Odd that would happen. So, I had them upgrade it to the new version that does not require the dongle.

At least the Cobb has a working recover function and will allow you to fix it..unlike another programmer that DID brick mine with no way to recover it

Mine quit right in the middle of flashing... It was not a fun experience.

luckily after resetting the battery I was able to connect to it again un-marry it and re-flash it. Mind you I was in the middle of no where doing the last leg of a run on the Texas-8 lol.

Dongle or not, it's all the same really. If the connection gets jiggled or whatever else you will have to unmarry and start all over again regardless. My OBD2 port connections are super flakey. One of these days I need to unpin and tweak them all to get a more solid connection. It's really aggravating to keep loosing the connection while logging.

Hang on, I just got my AP back today. Cobb has it set for pickup and FedEx missed the pickup. They called and apologized. So, on Tuesday I will run the new 2/3 log as far as I can in RPM and MPH. I just got back after a drive cycle to make sure it was working, and yes, the new version without the dongle, is by far superior on it's connection to the port and worked.

I have to go run the log again, as the dunce that I am, I forgot to reset the data log parameters tonight on my run.

233.41 G/S @ 8209 RPM @ 62.14 MPH @ 73.4F with 12.64 AFR in 2nd
233.89 G/S @ 8067 RPM @ 84.51 MPH @ 69.8F with 12.49 AFR in 3rd

Did not get MAF Voltage

Thats pretty much what I get but I am running way richer.

Might want to ditch the RB intake and go back to stock... Just my $.02 but what do I know.

it would be about 4.06V on the OE MAF calibration map

you can make the g/s numbers read anything you want, ultimately they don't provide any useful info

If you didn't manipulate the calibration the G/S would read the same? Its just a translation of volts, similar to temperature from a sensor.

You could either read it in G/S or volts it wouldn't matter. Its like saying Yes or Si, they mean the same thing just different languages.

That was the point..the MAF voltage is the raw data...and the flow # is manipulated by the MAF calibration

For the purposes of making a comparison .Assuming maf tube design is similar, Maf readings on an N/A engine are a lot more trustworthy than those from a turbo engine ..... Just sayin' ......

In a lot better part of the curve so to speak ...in a FI engine the readings get into the steep part of the curve that has less resolution

Oh I thought Teams point was the G/S mean absolutely nothing and are worthless bits of data. when in fact if left unmolested they report the same data just translated differently.

Anyways no point in debating it, you all win I know nothing.

True - but also : almost every FI setup i've come across has other issues relating to boost leaks or fuxed up pipework .
