If it makes you feel any better, my last ticket was in a baby blue toyota echo (enterprise rental while the '8 was in the shop on warranty repairs). I didnt mind the ticket as much as I minded sitting on the side of 355 in a baby blue echo.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the cop dosnt show up to court. I seem to have good luck with that *knock on wood*

Your dad has nice taste... C3 Vettes are beautiful. I prefer the '73 because it was the only year with fiberglass front and chrome rear, but thats partly because I had one.

I am livid right now... I checked the car, and I cant make out any damage, but I def felt a good jolt. So, I know there has gatta be something somewhere. I watched the f*&cker in my mirror as he hit me. I just think my adrenaline is going to strong right now for me to see the damage.

So after I calmed down a little bit, a coworker and I went out to examin my car. Yup, the F*&cker def messed up my bumper. God damn *** riders!!!! I also have a good size gash on my head from the steering wheel, but I was okay with that cause I will heal, and I "thought" there was no damage to the 8. Unfortunatly that was not the case. %&%&^&$!!

One prob with that. I didn't see any damage when it happend so I let the bastered go. Big mistake, I know. But I wasn't exactly thinking straight at the time. At the time, I was in LA LA Land. I just recently got rid of the loopiness, so hence the frustration. It wasn't until I got to work that I saw the gash on my forehead and of course the kind sir that *** raped my baby, did not tell me about my bleeding forehead. He was too busy trying to make sure he got off scott free!!

Wow, never EVER let the person from a collision go. I'm really sorry to hear that man. The good news is the rear bumper probably prevented any major damage (thats its job after all) and they are not that terribly expensive to replace. Primordial had his rear bumper trashed after he backed into a cement pole in the dark and rain, and got it repaired relatively cheaply. Hopefully you didn't sustain any more damage than the bump on the noggin. If that person hit you, didn't mention the fact that you were bleeding and clearly disoriented, and then fled... that is actually criminal and if there were any witnesses they could be in big trouble. Was there anybody else at the scene?

It happend around 6am, and I held up RT-108 cause once I got hit, I pulled the e-brake, turned the car off, and got out to inspect the damage. There was about 10-12 cars behind him that had no choice but to stop cause the road is a one lane road. So there was def some witnesses, but I have no way to contact them. Now that I am thinking straight, I am smacking myself for not taking down at least his plate number. After repeated inspections, the damage is minimal. The bumper did its job and bent in and then back out. There are a few stress lines and some wrinkling. I do not think they are too noticable unless you know what you are looking for. I guess you all can tell me what you think at the meet.

Stress lines? Wrinkling? I'd be bawling. I got a tiny scratch on my right front quarter panel and a tiny scratch on my driver's side A-pillar, and I was about to repaint my whole entire car.
