ok, we're turning this thread into a chat.

so the other day my muffler exploded and started to sound like a machine gun. luckily i found a stock muffler to use. anyone know anyone who knows how to weld titanium??? if not, i'm thinking about getting the GReddy SE with the burnt tips, that **** looks hawt!

No idea on the welding thing. But, I need to start tinkering with my car....where to start, where to start....

I was under the impression that it was:

Make it go
Make it stop
Make it turn
Make it pretty

I kinda skipped a bit and went for pretty. lol

 

^You would be surprised how a new set of tires changes the handling and acceleration of the car (props to Greg for teaching me about this).

 

My wheels don't even have 6k miles on them yet! lol I don't feel so hot about getting new tires just yet.

...do educate me please.

 

1. getting wider tires will give you more grip
2. getting wider wheels with the right offset give you a better stance
3. it'll just make your car that much more hotter
4. you're moving to MD/DC, it snows here. meaning you should invest in a set of winter tires and put them on your stock wheels.
