The whole point of them being cross drilled is so that they cool better so they don't warp.

 

Well, I paid like $300 for all 4 rotors and pads... and expecting to get what I pay for... I'm expecting them to warp.

 

That'll work. I'm 93% sure my rotors will be fine but they are up to 40k, this is the second time I've had them on with track brakes, and I'd be SOL in Florida if I don't have spares. Not real concerned about the rears. And hell even if I didn't have a spare the spoiled baby is being towed so I don't have to worry about getting home AND I'll be in freakin' Florida with booze so I'm sure I'll manage.

And just so you know your engine kill super duper stealth mod won't stop people from stealing your brake rotors. People do that you know. People desperate for braking.

People like me.

 

Yes but the whole reason you use non-drilled/slotted is because you prefer not to have a crack form between two weak points and your brake rotor breaks.

 

Well... I took off work today to get **** packed and start moving stuff to the new house.
I have 5 old CRT monitors lying around if anyone is interested (free).
Haven't really plugged them in lately to make sure they work, but they probably do.
Just trying to get rid of excessive junk.

 

If I didn't have 2 17" monitors and a 22" in the basement already I would take them.

Jon - I'll take a monitor or two off your hands if you're looking to get rid of them. Some of the wiener engineers prefer CRTs to LCDs because they claim its easier on their eyes... which I don't think is true at all.


Also: Do you guys want to plan our March "Meet" to go to the autoshow? I was thinking like March 7th or 8th... which are the last 2 days of the show, so hopefully it won't be too busy... Anyone have any good hook ups for tickets?

Tuesday AM. Picked up the trailer last night. Actually got my truck stuck in mud/snow trying to get it out. Had to have a Chevy Tahoe help tow out my Ford. And then the Chevy almost got stuck getting the trailer out. Finally managed it.

Now I am going to have to work some serious magic to get my car up on the trailer on Sunday in the Snow. My mom's driveway is one that ends with the garage on the side of the driveway instead of at the end of the driveway which means I doubt I'll be able to just pull the trailer back up to the garage. Which means somehow I will almost definitely need to drive my car in the snow.

On low profile Summer tires.
