Steve +1 - "University" girl expressed interesting in coming. I know Doc liked her.
"We're not going to go out and stand in the parking lot again? You know, its really cold out now"

So final count we're looking at 13-15? Wow - I should probably call them tonight.

I'll be there, as well as Megan.

I probably won't get there till around 7 though, Megan may make it there earlier.

What is the time? I've seen 6:00, 7:00 and 7:30.

Anyone going to be there a bit early? I'm not sure what kind of luck we're going to have with call ahead for this many people on a Friday night. On Fridays the Outback by me is pretty big with the AARP discount crowd. I could be persuaded to show up a little early if anyone else wants to get a head start on the beer.

From what I've read and what John told me, 6:00..

I'd like to get there early, but I'm at least an hour and a half away because of where I work (plus living in Youngstown) and I don't get off till 5.

I may try and sneak out a little early though.

I said 6? Normally we do 7. Guess we should take a quick vote.

Personally I don't care what time we go since Im off. But I think that they would be slower at 7 and be able to fit us in better.

Jon: Yep, it's Mat. Wife is Heather

Dammit, looks like everyone is coming out. Well, the wife just got brand new triple treds on her honda this morning so i would wager 10 - 1 we'll be there.

looks like i may be garaging the 8 as well after all... i think i found a 94 honda passport for sale. gonna check on it sat and see if it's worth it.

Garaging an 8 is well worth it. Not only does it save your 8 from being found randomly spinning down a highway it saves it from the damage of all the road salt.

Yeah, I swear you said 6 when you were im'ing me when I was working on the ST one day last week.... Or maybe it was Steve that said it in this thread.

I dunno.

I'd vote for 7 as it would be easier for me to make it out at that time and not be late, plus we may be able to sneak as some of the dinner croud has dispersed.

Luckily I don't have that problem as they really don't salt down here.

No Vote - I'm setting the table there for 7.00

If you get there early, grab a seat at the bar.

Or scope out waits at other restaurants, because Outback on friday night is going to be JAMMED!

Devilboi and an umbrella for his drink (1)
Jon and Yulia (2)
Doc and pit crew (3)
Tom (1)
Vex (noel) and company (3)
Banned (Matt and wife heather (2)
Tiresmoker (Brian + Megan) (2)

RK - Ryan - You're not invited. (0)

Well, snow tires do prevent the spinning - unless you start to mess with the DCS and TCS...

The 8 isn't bad in the winter... but I think I will purchase a 2nd vehicle for the next winter. It is hard on the car. It does drive me nuts to see the car caked in road grim and salt, not mention seeing the underside begin to rust.

I've actually done quite well in the snow with the OEM Protenza's. But i don't trust the other retards on the road.

Friday should rock. 7pm, i'll be there! Jon i'll have a memory card for you (swear!) and Doc, your frame's coming too!

... those tires are absolute CRAP!

trust me, when you get new tires, it will feel like you've got a brand new car. Not even good tires either. I bought General Exclaims for my summer tires and when those got put on . . . it was amazing. Road noised nearly stopped, cushioned more potholes, rattles went away due to the harder ride.

Just take those tires drifting for a day and then get new ones.

However, it is good news that they're able to keep you out of the ditch and off of the guard rail.

I saw a silver 8 in Bath this morning on the way to work. They were moving along pretty well with the crap on the roads.
