A couple other people have asked me the same thing. Must be an Outlook virus floating around. Try running AVG against your system and then doing the restore. And make sure that you are doing a recovery for Outlook Express and not Outlook...they are different.

No, my computer came out of the docking station and froze up. When I rebooted, it lost the link to the file.

I have the dbx file, but it won't import it.

I've tried copying it and renaming it. But the import function won't import the file.

I get error message that says "No messages can be found in this folder or another application is running the folder."

What do you want to know? Personally I use an Oral B Braun Triumph and Ultreo. I personally don't like the feel of Sonicares.

If You're looking to buy one, let me know. I give the guys here my wholesale cost.

I put the 8 up on stands. I know you can supposedly over inflate the tired 5 lbs and not have the tires flat spot...but Im not pushing it. So I threw fuel stabil in and ran it for 10 minutes and then put it up on stands.

Trying to rebuild all these Outlook files sucks too. 3 hours so far. NOT the way I planned to spend today!

At least you don't own a zune that died last night like millions of other people. The day could be soo much worse.

Jon, I was talking to DB today about how my shinka when parked and foot off the clutch makes a noise. It is similar to a noise that my 95 GTI VR6 made when the throw out bearing starting going out. The noise goes away when I push the clutch to the floor. So I was looking through several threads complaining about this same noise and I have to tell you that I didn't get a very clear answer about it. It went from " I went to the dealer and they put in a new clutch." to simply stated "Its normal." Do you know of a noise that is normal in earlier model 8s that is normal? It is not too loud as it had to be in the garage before I could hear it.

What kind of noise?
Whining, ticking, popping?
Its not uncommon for it to be the TOB, though I've never had that problem on my '04.

More then likely if it is a ratteling sound then it is the throw out bearing, especially if the noise goes away when the clutch is depressed. Another way to test is to give it a little gas and bring up the rpms (maybe like 250 - 500) if the noise goes away it is the throwout bearing. I personally wouldn't worry about it unless it gets really loud.

Every aftermarket clutch I have put in a car does it, so I'm quite privy to the sound. I haven't heard it on my '05 though all but maybe 2 times.

BTW, welcome to cleveland6club. I just posted a response to your thread over there.

It is a rattle. Jon you are close if you want to come by for a beer tonight or tomorrow it would be much appreciated. I am not going to worry too much about it as I couldn't hear it over the sound of the cooling fan going on. I just happened to notice it cause I was standing outside next to the car in the garage when my wife took it out of gear to park it.

Edit: Cool another Shinka! Where in Youngstown? My stepmother has family in Canfield.

Yeah... now that I think about it, I know what sound you're referring to.
I just got so used to it on my car.
Its normal... welcome to the life of an RX8 owner.

BTW... when was your tranny fluid last replaced?
May be worth swapping it... some have reported the noise lessened after a fluid swap.
Even if it doesn't, still good to do.

Of course... we (RX8s) also have an issue with heat shield rattling that is noticeable during idle.

Is all that I know about it. This spring I planned on doing plugs, oil change, and guess I need to add transmission to the list. I miss having a lift to use on base.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the plugs, oils (engine, trans, diff) and maybe an engine cleaner since you are unsure how well the previous owner kept up on maintenance.

Oh btw when you start moving I can bring my durango and tow a trailer for a day if you like. Anytime you do something to your car I would like to be in attendance as I like to learn and help. As stated before I like to take things apart.

Then you better live in a spare bedroom at my house because I can be sitting on the couch, have a thought, and run out to the car to tear something apart (boredom causes this too).
