Which wire you choose doesn't really matter.
The idea is to prevent current from reaching the starter relay.

That wire from the clutch switch is green/red/white.

I had a similar setup on a Jeep, ran the wire thru a 'window reed switch', from an alarm system, hidden under the carpet.
Jeep wouldn't start without a small magnet in place.

Your talking about the clutch switch... not the starter interlock switch, right?

Damn it... now I have to run out to the car and look for myself.
I don't see why an interlock switch (of this kind) would need three wires.

Forget it Jon, our resident Big Brother is gone.

Push button start and kill switch mod!

right after I figure how to unstick my brake calipers

Boy its cold outside... can't wait for my garage.
So the switch is only two wires.
I would go with a kill switch instead of a push button.
Give me a second to Photoshop the pics I took of the interlock switch.

Why? We can have BOTH... come on, a push button start is totally what my car needs... it would be easier to crank when it floods

Have you tried greasing up the slides? Or is it the actual piston that is stuck?

Would you possibly like to see that number increse beyond 1? I'd say go with just the kill switch for now

Its the float pins.
The boots came off and seized the float pins.

I managed to get his front driver's side off and cleaned it up pretty well.
The front passenger side float is REALLY seized and I couldn't remove the pins.

... so far in 09, the car has been running great the whole year!

and really, how bad could you really screw this up? You cut the wire, wire the switch, it doesn't work or blows a fuse... (I did learn to disconnect the battery when doing **** like this)

But then again... last time someone disconnected the battery the car wouldn't idle anymore - though it turned out to be unrelated.

John: Brakes stop a car - Breaks are short periods of relaxation, sometimes taken for coffee or smoking.

Well... if you look at the electrical diagram, you'll see that the 15A IG Key fuse should be the only one blown.

BTW when I changed my pads I thought about doing it the 'easy' way and flipping open the calipers. Then I thought about Steve and your calipers. So I opted to do it the hard way. I don't know if trying to change them that way causes the seizures or if I've just gotten lucky but I figured now would be a bad time to find out.

And a Stealth sighting. That's some random **** right there. Must have been the joke about Canada on the top of the previous page.

Did I mention that I changed my number?

Hey were your front rotors warped or was it your rear? Assuming it was the front but really don't know.

Asking because I'm considering picking up a set before Tuesday. Might just snag yours instead - either one or both. Wish someone hadn't reminded me of that on Monday and maybe just have mentioned it the week before so I coulda gotten some OEMs from something other than a stealership.

Its a shitty design... nothing to keep the boots in place.
Nothing to do with how the pads were changed.

from the feel, it was the driver side rear rotor that wasn't very good... Maybe I'll take them down to our machine shop and have them turned...

Honestly, I'm concerned about the vented cross drilled rotors if I do track the car ever... if they warp, i wouldn't mind having back ups... but I don't care if you borrow them on loaner.

EDIT: I'm getting ready to leave work, so I'll throw my old rotors in the trunk and run them down to be turned tomorrow.
