Sounds like a lot of fun. I have to work a half day that Saturday, but I might be able to scoot down there after I'm out.

I'll give it some thought.

FYI (and posted in the insurance forum) but the RX-8 has been reclassified in Ohio for auto insurance. My auto just jumped $350 a year. Not sure when the classification change went into effect but expect bad news on your next renewal.

Damn Progressive - they buy a baseball field and then screw the RX-8.... who knew the two would be related?

Do you know what they're classifying the 8 as now? Sport sub-compact or something? I just want to know what other cars would be in our "class" according to the insurance companies.

On that topic - does anyone care to share how much their insurance dropped on their 25th birthday? I've heard good rumors, but I don't think that there is a really going to a huge drop for me anytime soon.

I'm 25 next month! and No tickets (yet)

My agent's calling me back this afternoon but he said it was reclassified from a 'symbol 17' to a 'symbol 20'. I'm trying to find out what that actually references but haven't found a link.

I have no tickets on record and I believe my only fender bender came off this year and I'm still spending a decent chunk. Bonus about putting the car up in the winter is that I can have it 'stored' for insurance purposes so I don't pay a full rate.

The negative to that is that I'm not driving my 8 and I have a clunky, 1999, POS explorer that is on my insurance in the 8s place.

BTW - this isn't Progressive. This is Ohio (and maybe more states). I <3 the Man.

Oh and Progressive sucks as an insurer. Good place to work though.

I haven't noticed mine going up yet.

Thank God I only have the insurance activated 7 months out of the year. It saves me a good amount of money.

I went down $50 at 25. Last year I was also like Tony and pulled my insurance in the Winter. Dropped it down to $40 for 6 months instead of the $320 I pay normally. I just paid my insurance though and I hate to say it rk...mine stayed steady.

It's just west of 77 off 82.

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um...&cd=1&resnum=1

I think you'd just take 80, get off onto 77 north, and the first exit is rt 82 (about 2 miles N of 80). Go west on 82 about 5 minutes and the Boneyard is on the right.

If you come down 480 you'd get off at 77 south. Get off on rt 82 W about 5 miles south of 480 (it's a split exit so take the first ramp going to 'Broadview Heights').

You could also just come all the way up 82 but generally that's a little longer and there are lots of cops in North Royalton watching when it gets down to 25.

Negative. I haven't driven the 8 since last Sunday. I was out in Willoughby around noon today, but I was in my Wrangler.

Day late and a dollar short...but who knows...some of you crazy ******* may wake up early enough to go. The Cleveland6Club found this and I figured I would at least pass it along. It's in Beth's backyard but...AutoX tomorrow morning at the old Ford plant on Baumhart in Lorain/Vermillion/Wakeman.

I can bring the intake to our meet on June 6th.
Would you be interested in working out some way for me to take some of your stock components?
Hell.. I would even do the whole install for you on the 6th.

I plan on changing out my fluids once the dual resonated mid-pipe arrives (since I have the car jacked)... still waiting for the tracking number.
Hopefully I will have it before the 6th... would love to drive it up 77.

Unfortunately, I plan on keeping my stock parts just in case I run in to the same issue you're having now. I've kept every stock part I've ever taken off of any of my cars, just in case. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't want to be in a bad position if I decide to switch to a different intake or go back to stock down the road.

Jon, After all the work on my intake, I have a boxed, almost complete stock intake I will be selling for parts. You've got my email. Let me know what you need.
