Tacti: Fuel is a coffee shop on 52/Riverside drive just east of downtown. MAP
Coffee and Cars is from 8AM to Noon. I try to get there around 9:30ish. Majority of cars are there by 10:30. Some stay the whole time, other just pop in and get coffee and leave. Good times though and good people. Usually no snobbery, rice, or people acting like idiots.

I'm in a Ti-grey with gun metal wheels with a chrome lip. I'll keep an eye out for you and introduce myself. Most people know me by my car if not by name, so feel free to ask if I don't see you right away. My name's Kevin. 9 times out of 10, i'm wearing a red and white OSU hat, or my newly gifted 24hrs of Lemons hat. That actually goes for anyone going there. I'm there most weekends and most of the people can point me out. Kwikslvr is easy to find too if he's there. t-grey as well, but he's like 9 feet tall and kind of stands out.

its cool man, there are all kinds of cars there. some totally stock, some without a stock part left. its just a bunch of ppl who like cars and respect each one for what it is. mostly an older crowd really, im prolly the youngest one there (im 25) there are a lot of Porsche's and BMW's. also the guy who runs http://www.cincysportscar.com is usually there and the wheel doctor stops down sometimes too.

 

Who is the Wheel Doctor? I might have some work for him if it is what I think.

chiefmg: No problem. If you're just looking for paint, a guy at cars and coffee just painted a set of rotas for a mini that look fantastic, and I believe he was cheap since he does it in a spray booth at his house. Let me know, and I'll track down his info for you.

Tacti: Yes, Fuel is saturday morning. My wife will be sleeping in since she hasn't had a saturday off in a while. There are usually plenty of wives and girlfriends though, so she won't be alone. It's a very pet friendly environment as well.

 

Thanks. I just bought a set of wheels for the Speed and they have some rash. Depending upon how bad it is I might get them fixed. Money I'm saving over buying similar wheels from Japan will be going into the RX-7.

What I really need is to find someone who can do metal replacement surgery on the 7. That way I can strip her down this time home and then leave her while I am gone next time.

since I gotta be back in oxford by 12:00 or 12:30, I can be there only for an hour or so.
I'll be wearing jeans and light color T-shirt (well, probably this won't help that much....)

even though I washed my car less than a week ago, it was already covered by pollen, and I needed to cleaned it again...

well, probably i'm gonna have nice thin coat of pollen by the time I get there tomorrow.

by the way,
there was a road rally event in cincinnati last year, and i was doing navigator for my friend who drives 350Z.
it's not like you go driving down the road as fast as you can, but try to get as close as possible to the unknown target time which revealed after the race is over.
it was a fun, and i probably will do the navigator on his car again this year.
many younger guys, but age ranged from teen ager to 50s,
and the entry was Subaru, porsche, BMW, 350Z, ETC.

You can try mine, there's a 25% chance it will work. Mazda made 4 different keys. Do you still have the envelope and card that came with the car for the wheel lock key? It will have the key number, and a dealership should be able to get you one. Check this thread.

Let me know if you want to try mine, and I'll dig it out of storage.

thanks for the offers guys...i went to mazda this morning and they cant sell them. You have to call a number and then mazda ships you one. Kinda silly. So I just had tire discounters remove them and put regular ones on. Sucks I lost that lug key...

They do it that way so thieves can't just buy a key. Not that they won't if they really want to.

Luxury four door sedan? Like a Mazdaspeed6? Yeah I know, it isn't that luxurious.

I'd be down to meet up somewhere even if you don't bring the 8. there's always Cars and Coffee on saturday mornings that a few of have been or are at regularly. sat morning we will be driving to west virginia to use our freeplay at mountaineer casino (about $200 worth of freeplay) then heading to the cincinatti area. think we are gonna go to mount ***** for all the bars. (cant remember the name of the mount but its supposed to have a bunch of bars) then on sunday we are gonna go to the aquarium and then to grand victoria and hollywood casinos. monday we drive home. anyone who wants to join us is more then welcome to

 

Probably Mt. Adams which has quiet a few bars, and is usually a big draw for visitors. Mt. Lookout has a few bars too though. They went Mt. XXXX crazy in this city, so it's hard to say. Maybe we can get a little meetup at the aquarium on Sunday. I'll try to rally some troops.

 

Im looking at acura TLs...fully loaded they are really sharp..07 or newer..

and yea the dealership doesnt want to sell keys to theives..but my car is registered to me in their database...plus i had it with me...those bastards..
