Probably between 9:30 and 10:00, and i usually stay for about 45 minutes to an hour or so. I i see the speed or the 8, i'll look for you before i get my coffee so i don't miss you again.
If I do make it, it will be in the Speed. Just went out a while ago to pick up one of the kids from work, the roads here are a mess. Also, the 8 is clean and in the garage so my name would be mud if I took it out!

I will take them if they are in good shape, let me know what works for you or him to meet up and do the exchange..
Thanks a ton man...
Well, I was just out taking someone to work and our secondary roads are pretty messy. Just can't see taking the chance on meeting someone with more ***** than brains and having an accident, so I'll have to pass on Fuel this week.
Brains win today. I decided against heading to Fuel as well. It's not worth it, the roads aren't that great in my neck of the woods either. Unfortunately i have to go out later in this crap, but everything is close to home and off of Beechmont, which should be relatively clear by the time i'm out.
Anyone going to Fuel this Saturday (13th)? I might be heading down if the weather is decent.
I am running Blizzaks on my S. I was passing SUVs everywhere on fri night and all day saturday. They are amazing tires!

Our 8 has Dunlop SP Winter Sports on it. I'm not too impressed, dry traction is not good at all (lots of wheelspin around corners). Could be the alignment is off. In any event the Speed6 is the better winter car, I'm thinking about getting some Blizzaks for it next year.
On another note, the used D-specs I bought showed up today. Might be putting them on tomorrow if I get off my lazy butt. No adjusters with them so I'll have to check with one of the vendors I use to see if I can get some.
Oh, and I bought a clear third brake light from Octane Motorsports. They never sent me tracking info (although they said they had) and when it showed up today I found it missing one of the back screws. I've asked them for a replacement screw, we'll see what their answer is. Waiting on a nice little decal before I put that in (no, it isn't one of the RX-8 silhouettes).
Got my 8 factory manual (off eBay today). I also have the electrical manual if anyone needs to borrow it you can. Only while I'm home of course!
I also received the engine and tranny manuals I bought (in lots) off the same vendor. I bid so I could get the ones for the Speed6. I don't know how many of you on here own more than one Mazda like myself, but if anyone is interested I can post up the list. If I have one you need you can have it.

Well I got the Integra to be my beater/ project car. I got it last spring and paid $700 for it. It's a '91. Everything with the drive-train is fine, but being an old Honda it's pretty rusty and we gutted the interior b/c it was absolutely ruined. It's a work in progress though, so hopefully by the end of this summer we'll have it looking better. I think Ryan is kicking around the idea of autocrossing it eventually, but we have a long way to go before that ever happens.
It showed up without any adjusters, so I want to get those first. I may also have to source the spring hats for the rear, it will depend upon if the stockers were used for the BC coilovers but I'll have to pull one to see. I'm also having a hard time getting motivated with the cold, I still haven't even looked at my Protege's front end, and I damaged that a month ago. Plus not knowing when I am due to go back to work is annoying.
chiefmg if you need any help with the 8's suspension me and josh did my springs in his garage on jackstands pretty well.
the front can be a butthead since the upper control arm swalllows the strut tower so for easier pain free install take that biatch off. (its like 2 15m bolts)
but hooray for tax season! here comes sway bars ^_^
oh and for tires on my 8, for now i have kuhmo all seasons and theirs nothing really seasony about them, and the fact the overall body drop is more due to profile in tire change the snow is my enemy.

Thanks for the offer. I should be all set, I have an air compressor and impact wrench. It won't be like when I swapped the suspension out on my Protege (outside, about 14 hours over two days. Front/rear struts and springs, front/rear sways, front/rear engine mounts). Appreciate the heads up on the front, I have read the two threads about changing suspension on here. My job has taught me there is more than one way to skin a cat so I'll see what presents itself when I get under there.
Yeah. I had to come in to work today so the Blizzack's got their test. I'm impressed with them. The car did better than i expected, but i wouldn't call the drive fun. Looks like i'll be heading back home soon as most of downtown seems to be shutting down early.

I managed to make it in at 7 this morning, but it wasn't much fun for me either. It wasn't a particularly eventful drive, just slow and tense. Especially because my exit goes to the bottom of a hill and to get to work I have to go back up the hill.
Sadly, my baby will be left in the parking lot tonight, because by now there is no way I am making it home. Hitching a ride from a coworker with a Subaru and I'll come get my 8 tomorrow.

Just had to make a quick run up to the store, took the 8 since she was already out and as an experiment. Dunlop Winter Sports suck as snow tires. The car is good though, same good inclement weather handling as my RX-7. Had a little fun but didn't get too crazy (wife was with me and she would have choked me or worse had I wrecked her car).
