I'll ask the professor what he can do. He's moved on to another and has a competition motor right behind it.

Anything for you.

I won't be selling them separately. They are purchased from Mazdaspeed Motorsports who have invested in a huge quantity of these. I will pass on some of my savings on them in a motor prepared by us. We don't need the conflict of interest.

These are the ultimate. They do virtually no wear to the rotor housings and rotors in proper useage and can run considerably greater spring pressure allowing them to retain proper contact with the housings at elevated rpms. They are better at retaining the engines compression numbers on race motors and allow more ignition timing and leaner air fuel ratios (Relative).

We lost one today. One of the clones has found a new home .
The motor that belonged to Expo1 has been sold this evening. It went with one of our RE-medy high flow water pumps. This was a nice one.

We have one more six port in stock and Rick is working on another. We also have 2 reman 4 ports in stock presently.

Wow, that didn't take long! May the new owner treat it as well as Expo did and may that engine ZOOM ZOOM for many many years to come. (and it certainly should with the help of that pump)

The new owner is a member here and he can identify himself if he desires. He will do a little track time also.

If we did a motor that was our standard rebuild with brand new rotor housings and the doctor's special competition ceramic apex seals you would be looking at $5200 plus core. There are many other things that can be done to take it to what I would consider 'stock class-race trim' but if Rick spends another 10 plus hours on it, the price will reflect it. I add our RE-medy high flow water pump for an additional $150; as I've said many times, it's a must have.

The apex seals used in the Rolex series by Speedsource would be courtesy of Mazdaspeed Motorsports Development. No smart rotary racer running in an endurance series would run without the 'Doctor's Seals'. I do not recommend these for the forced induction crowd if you don't have your tuning down to an art. I also don't recommend long term forced induction without a lot of other things. I'm of the opinion that things should be done correctly from the start so we don't encourage the theory that rotaries don't last long and that their apex seals can't be trusted. As long as we have people being penny wise and pound foolish in a world of endless new territory and discoveries such as we enjoy in the rotary world we will continue the myth of low reliability.

I'm also relatively sure that Speedsource isn't using Renesis type rotors at the moment so the seals I would provide in one of our upper level NA engines would not be identical but from the same manufacturer.

There are other parts from the 'Doctor' that were used on the Rolex GT winning car, but I will only reveal as much as I am allowed to reveal. By the way, our parent company designed and manufactures all of the body components for those cars.

As time goes by, more and more of you will be familiar with the 'Doctor' and the 'Professor'.

Paul.

One of our trick NA engines (With Ceramics) would go really well with some of the new management systems people are offering these days, hmm .
